Story
Hi, future family 🧡 My name is Nut, and I’m a 1-year-old boy with a round little body, short legs, and a face that makes people smile the moment they see me. I’m about 10kg, and people say I look like a mix of Shiba Inu, Welsh Corgi, and Jindo. Somehow, I got the best parts of all three — a bright Shiba face, the gentle charm of a Jindo, and tiny Corgi legs that wiggle along when I walk. Apparently, the way I toddle toward people is “extremely cute.” I hear that a lot. But before I got this second chance, my story was almost over. I was rescued from a city shelter just before euthanasia. If help had come any later, I wouldn’t be here today writing this to you. Even though my past was difficult, I still love people very much. I never stopped hoping someone kind would choose me. I’m actually pretty friendly when meeting new people. I like staying close to humans, and if you look at me or talk to me, my tail starts wagging almost immediately. I really enjoy attention, affection, and simply being near the people I love. I also get along well with other dogs and enjoy running around or relaxing beside dog friends. I do have one funny little habit though… Sometimes I get a tiny bit jealous. If another dog is getting all the attention, I might quietly squeeze my way in or try to remind everyone, “Hey… I’m here too!” But it’s not aggressive at all — it’s more like a little kid asking not to be forgotten. Honestly, I just love people so much that I want to be included in the love too. There’s something important I hope you understand about me: Living in a real home will be completely new for me. I’ve spent my life in shelter environments, so things like house routines, walking politely on leash, waiting alone, potty habits, and understanding family life are all things I’m still learning. At first, I might make mistakes, get overly curious, feel nervous in a new place, or show lots of puppy energy. But that doesn’t mean I’m a “bad” dog — it just means I’ve never truly had the chance to learn what family life feels like. Rescue dogs like me sometimes need time to adjust. For the first few days or weeks, I may seem shy, overwhelmed, or different from what you expected. New environments can feel scary at first. But if you stay patient and give me time, I promise I’ll slowly begin to relax, trust, and show you more and more of my real personality. And I think… my real personality is pretty lovable. I’m the little dog who trots after you on short legs. The one who looks at you with bright eyes whenever you call my name. The one who simply wants to be loved and included in your life. Once, I was standing at the edge of goodbye. Now, I’m waiting for a forever family who will give me a warm home, kind patience, and a life where I never have to feel unwanted again. If you choose me, I’ll spend the rest of my life loving you with my whole heart. 🧡

Story
Hi future family, My name is Haeram, and I’m a 5-month-old Welsh Corgi × Jindo mix boy weighing around 8kg. I have short little legs, fluffy soft fur, and a bright happy smile that makes people laugh without even realizing it. Everywhere I go, people tell me how cute and cheerful I look! Before I was rescued, my sister and I were wandering around country roads together. We were still very young, and it was a dangerous place for puppies to grow up. Thankfully, kind people rescued us before anything bad happened, and now I’m safe, healthy, and waiting for my forever family. I really love people. Even when I meet someone for the first time, I usually walk over happily to say hello because I enjoy attention and affection so much. I also get along very well with other dogs, so I could fit nicely into a home with another furry sibling too. Even though I’m still just a puppy, I’m already trying my best to learn! My potty training success rate is very high, and I already know some basic commands like “sit,” “paw,” and “come.” I enjoy walks and love spending time doing activities with people. Being together makes me happiest. But I’m still only five months old. That means I’m still learning about the world every single day. When I move into a new home, I may feel nervous at first. I could make little potty mistakes while adjusting, or I might chew things and get playful because I’m curious about everything around me. Those aren’t “bad behaviors” — they’re simply part of growing up as a puppy. I’ll need time to learn your family’s routines, house rules, walking paths, and how to feel comfortable when left alone. If you guide me patiently and kindly, I promise I’ll learn quickly and grow into an amazing companion. I really love connecting with people, and I respond very well to praise and positive training. If we spend time walking, playing, learning, and building trust together, I know I’ll soon become a true member of your family. I may not be a “finished” dog yet, but that also means we can grow together. For a family who wants to experience the joy of raising a puppy, watching me learn new things, and making beautiful memories together, I know I could become a very special companion. I can already imagine myself following you around the house on my tiny little legs, wagging my tail, and being part of your everyday life. I’m waiting for the family who will walk beside me, grow with me, and love me forever. Love, Haeram 🐾

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in Lacey, WA. We really can say sweet Elfie is a mutt, but his breeds? very hard to say! ELFIE is a BOY…and looks like a little ELF with his cute tipped ears. These ears are common in the Wire-haired Terrier but Elfie does not have the wire-hair…it’s beautiful and soft. We think it could be a Fox Terrier mix. His DOB is 11/3/25. He will probably get to be 47#s perhaps?…best estimate. He is playful and loves all other dogs and the children he is in foster with. We think he'd be great with children because he is gentle (see pix). Elfie is great with people and will make a great family dog…active companion. We do not adopt puppies to households that are gone all day. They need interaction and care. Elfie is potty trained! He is super quiet and great in his crate. He also has a way of moving his “eyebrows’…the McDonald’s archway! Check out our YouTube Videos: https://youtu.be/lqPti1D22iE https://youtu.be/7dlKtKRreq4 Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️💟Available to fly to SEA💟The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate.Meet Victor❤️💙 Victor's News Account: @jjamooong._1.) Health Condition Spayed. Microchipped, negative for heartworm upon retest (treatment complete) and dental scaling completed. Due to a small fracture in her right molars and tartar buildup, special care is taken to brush her teeth.2.) Rescue Story Victor was rescued by an Adogs volunteer while she was tied up tightly in a gravel lot. When found, she had clearly been neglected for a long time — food that had gone bad was piled next to her, and she looked frightened. But as soon as she felt safe, she wagged her tail and approached.3.) Basic Information With People: Gets along well with strangers as long as they don’t rush or approach in a threatening manner. Becomes affectionate if you approach and give her love. Acts cute and flops down comfortably when being petted by familiar people. Loves cuddling close to people. If you come home, she will hurry out to welcome you warmly. Is reactive with people who are running towards her, but she quickly stops if you tell her no. With Dogs: Gets along well with her foster family’s dog. Previously, she got overstimulated when seeing other dogs on walks but through training, she now calms down quickly and focuses on treats. Growls at first when she meets a dog at a dog friendly cafe, but stays still when they keep their distance. Is possessive of toys and sometimes tries to threaten other dogs when they play with her toy. Is getting training to fix this behaviour. With Cats: Although she growls at cats on walks, she stops quickly and passes by if you tell her to go. Separation Anxiety: Experiences anxiety when left alone, barking and scratching at the door. Does not feel separation anxiety when with other dogs or strangers though. Potty Training: Is very good with using pee pads. However, she remembers the first spot it was placed, so consistency in pad location is key. Prefers to go outside if possible and marks with her pee only when outside. Hygiene: Does excellently with baths and toothbrushing, and enjoys brushing. Does not like having her ears cleaned, so mouths at her foster parent’s hand as a warning without biting. Is very afraid of nail clipping, so it’s mostly handled through walks. Walks: Gets aggressive when birds or cats pass by. On days when she’s feeling irritable, she lunges with overstimulation and doesn't calm down when she sees other dogs. But on good days, she immediately refocuses on her guardian upon being called. Tends to pull on the leash hard only when other dogs are around or if she’s in a rush to potty. Is reluctant to go for walks on dark or cold days. Car Sickness: No motion sickness during a two-hour drive. Caution is required as there may be defensive (warning) biting if she is suddenly pushed to the side, if someone puts their face too close, if picked up abruptly, if bothered when she is already tired, or during ear cleaning. Doesn’t bark even at strangers outside the door as long as they don’t ring the doorbell. Barks briefly when family returns to home. Loves food very much. While this used to lead to some sensitivity (resource guarding) around her foster sibling, this behavior has improved significantly. Doesn’t like being bothered. Is okay with her foster sibling, but doesn’t like other dogs. Understands commands such as 'Sit down', 'Lie down', 'Turn', 'Nose', 'V', 'Paw', 'Wait', and 'Kiss'! Is a cutie pie that loves people. However, she has an independent side and dislikes being bothered too much.

Story
Meet Cheese! Cheese and her brother Mac were found abandoned in the woods in a remote area. They were covered in foxtails and were very underweight. They are both safe and sound in a foster home and doing very well.  Cheese is a lovely girl! She has a delightful temperament and is great with people and other dogs. She is learning about the world and with a little patience will continue to progress. Her foster family is very active and Cheese loves to go to the beech, sit on the kayak and go on adventures. Cheese is a short legged girl and may have some Corgi in her DNA. She certainly is not a purebred but that makes her unique and super cute.  Cheese would love an active home. She has not been around cats.  She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
