Story
Hi, future family 🧡 My name is Nut, and I’m a 1-year-old boy with a round little body, short legs, and a face that makes people smile the moment they see me. I’m about 10kg, and people say I look like a mix of Shiba Inu, Welsh Corgi, and Jindo. Somehow, I got the best parts of all three — a bright Shiba face, the gentle charm of a Jindo, and tiny Corgi legs that wiggle along when I walk. Apparently, the way I toddle toward people is “extremely cute.” I hear that a lot. But before I got this second chance, my story was almost over. I was rescued from a city shelter just before euthanasia. If help had come any later, I wouldn’t be here today writing this to you. Even though my past was difficult, I still love people very much. I never stopped hoping someone kind would choose me. I’m actually pretty friendly when meeting new people. I like staying close to humans, and if you look at me or talk to me, my tail starts wagging almost immediately. I really enjoy attention, affection, and simply being near the people I love. I also get along well with other dogs and enjoy running around or relaxing beside dog friends. I do have one funny little habit though… Sometimes I get a tiny bit jealous. If another dog is getting all the attention, I might quietly squeeze my way in or try to remind everyone, “Hey… I’m here too!” But it’s not aggressive at all — it’s more like a little kid asking not to be forgotten. Honestly, I just love people so much that I want to be included in the love too. There’s something important I hope you understand about me: Living in a real home will be completely new for me. I’ve spent my life in shelter environments, so things like house routines, walking politely on leash, waiting alone, potty habits, and understanding family life are all things I’m still learning. At first, I might make mistakes, get overly curious, feel nervous in a new place, or show lots of puppy energy. But that doesn’t mean I’m a “bad” dog — it just means I’ve never truly had the chance to learn what family life feels like. Rescue dogs like me sometimes need time to adjust. For the first few days or weeks, I may seem shy, overwhelmed, or different from what you expected. New environments can feel scary at first. But if you stay patient and give me time, I promise I’ll slowly begin to relax, trust, and show you more and more of my real personality. And I think… my real personality is pretty lovable. I’m the little dog who trots after you on short legs. The one who looks at you with bright eyes whenever you call my name. The one who simply wants to be loved and included in your life. Once, I was standing at the edge of goodbye. Now, I’m waiting for a forever family who will give me a warm home, kind patience, and a life where I never have to feel unwanted again. If you choose me, I’ll spend the rest of my life loving you with my whole heart. 🧡

Story
Hi future family, My name is Haeram, and I’m a 5-month-old Welsh Corgi × Jindo mix boy weighing around 8kg. I have short little legs, fluffy soft fur, and a bright happy smile that makes people laugh without even realizing it. Everywhere I go, people tell me how cute and cheerful I look! Before I was rescued, my sister and I were wandering around country roads together. We were still very young, and it was a dangerous place for puppies to grow up. Thankfully, kind people rescued us before anything bad happened, and now I’m safe, healthy, and waiting for my forever family. I really love people. Even when I meet someone for the first time, I usually walk over happily to say hello because I enjoy attention and affection so much. I also get along very well with other dogs, so I could fit nicely into a home with another furry sibling too. Even though I’m still just a puppy, I’m already trying my best to learn! My potty training success rate is very high, and I already know some basic commands like “sit,” “paw,” and “come.” I enjoy walks and love spending time doing activities with people. Being together makes me happiest. But I’m still only five months old. That means I’m still learning about the world every single day. When I move into a new home, I may feel nervous at first. I could make little potty mistakes while adjusting, or I might chew things and get playful because I’m curious about everything around me. Those aren’t “bad behaviors” — they’re simply part of growing up as a puppy. I’ll need time to learn your family’s routines, house rules, walking paths, and how to feel comfortable when left alone. If you guide me patiently and kindly, I promise I’ll learn quickly and grow into an amazing companion. I really love connecting with people, and I respond very well to praise and positive training. If we spend time walking, playing, learning, and building trust together, I know I’ll soon become a true member of your family. I may not be a “finished” dog yet, but that also means we can grow together. For a family who wants to experience the joy of raising a puppy, watching me learn new things, and making beautiful memories together, I know I could become a very special companion. I can already imagine myself following you around the house on my tiny little legs, wagging my tail, and being part of your everyday life. I’m waiting for the family who will walk beside me, grow with me, and love me forever. Love, Haeram 🐾

Story
Hi, my name is Haerang 🐾 I’m a 3-year-old male Shiba–Welsh mix, weighing about 7kg. I have a slim body, short little legs, and bright, sparkling eyes that people often fall in love with right away. I was rescued from a shelter where euthanasia was taking place. Before that, I spent a long time in a shelter environment where I didn’t get many chances to experience the world. I was very shy and fearful back then, often hiding quietly on my own. But I’ve changed a lot since then. As I learned what human warmth feels like, I slowly opened my heart. Now, I truly love people. When you call my name, I’ll happily roll over and show you my belly, wiggling my way toward you for affection. I have a very gentle, calm, and stable personality, and being with me tends to make people feel relaxed and at ease without even realizing it. My favorite thing in the world is my person. I can coexist peacefully with other dogs and even cats, but I’m more of a “one-on-one” kind of guy. I’m happiest in a quiet, calm home where I can enjoy peaceful time with my family rather than a busy, crowded environment. I already know the command “house,” I walk nicely on leash, and I do well riding in the car too. With potty training, I might have a few small accidents in a brand-new environment, but I’m very steady and gentle by nature—if you guide me patiently and kindly, I’ll learn just fine. In unfamiliar places, I may seem a little timid at first. But give me some time, and I’ll be the one coming to you, asking for love. Before you know it, I’ll be following you everywhere like your little shadow—your loyal, affectionate “velcro dog.” I’m not a dog who adjusts instantly. I’m a dog who blossoms when someone waits for me and believes in me. I’ve been learning to trust human arms again, and now I’m ready to give my whole heart to one forever family. If you’re looking for a quiet, gentle companion who will stay close by your side for life, I’m right here—waiting just for you. 💛

Story
🏠 Currently in a Seattle foster homeHi, I’m Sunny ☀️I’m a 1-year-old boy with a small 10kg body, short little legs, and a face that always looks like I’m smiling. People often say I look like a mix between a Shiba Inu and a Welsh Corgi — and honestly, I’ve heard “so cute!” more times than I can count. But before I became this happy little Sunny, life was very uncertain for me. I was rescued from a city shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia. I came very close to losing my chance at life, but thankfully, someone gave me another opportunity — a chance to finally find safety, love, and a real family.Even after the difficult things I’ve experienced, I still like people very much. When I first meet someone or enter a new environment, I can be a little shy and cautious. I’m not the type to run straight into your arms right away. But if you give me a little time, speak gently to me, and let me approach at my own pace, I’ll slowly open my heart and quietly come stay by your side. I’m also very good with other dogs and enjoy having dog friends around me. Because of my calm and gentle personality, I may do especially well in a home with another friendly dog. I’m more of the quiet follower type than the center-of-attention type — the kind of dog who softly becomes part of your everyday life before you even realize how attached you’ve become. There is one thing I’m still learning, though. I get nervous when people suddenly pick me up. If someone lifts me without warning, I may wiggle, whine, or panic a little. I think maybe my body still remembers some scary feelings from the past. But I want you to know something important: I’m not aggressive at all. I’m simply saying, “I’m still a little afraid.” If you respect my pace and help me build trust slowly, I believe I can continue growing more confident over time. With my tiny body and short legs, I’ve been told I’m adorable wherever I go. The way I trot toward people makes everyone smile. But my real charm isn’t loud or flashy — I’m the kind of dog whose sweetness quietly sneaks into your heart day by day. Most of all, I hope my second chance at life becomes a forever one. I don’t need perfection. I just hope for a family who will wait for me patiently, understand me gently, and love me exactly as I am. I’ve already survived one goodbye. Now I’m waiting for my forever hello. 🧡

Story
My name is Lucas, and I’m a 4-year-old male Jack Russell Terrier × Welsh mix weighing around 10kg. I have a compact, sturdy body — but my short little legs are what everyone notices first. People often say I look extra adorable when I walk, and I think it’s because every step I take naturally makes people smile. 😊 For a long time, I lived in a shelter. I was rescued just before euthanasia, and since then I’ve been given a second chance at life. Now I’m staying in a training facility where I’m slowly learning what the world is like outside the shelter. Everything still feels new to me — other dogs playing freely, interesting smells on walks, toys, and especially kind human attention. It’s almost like I’m finally experiencing what it means to just be a dog. Because I’m discovering so much for the first time, I get very curious about everything around me. But there are also things I still need help understanding. Sometimes, if a hand suddenly reaches over my head or someone touches me unexpectedly, I can get scared and react defensively. In those moments, it may look like I’m trying to bite, but it’s really just fear — a way for me to protect myself when I feel unsure. When people take time to approach me gently, that behavior becomes much less, and my true personality starts to show. Because deep down… I’m actually a very sweet and affectionate boy. 💛 I just need time. What I need most is not quick bonding, but patience and understanding. If you let me come to you at my own pace instead of forcing touch or rushing interactions, I will slowly begin to trust you. It helps a lot when people approach me from the side or below rather than reaching over my head, and when they use calm voices and positive experiences to help me feel safe. Once I trust someone, I become a completely different dog — I love attention, I follow my person around, and I show a very affectionate and playful side. I also need time to adjust because I haven’t really experienced normal home life before. A house, daily routines, leash walking in neighborhoods, being alone for short periods, and house training — all of these are still new to me. At first, I may feel nervous or make mistakes, but that’s not bad behavior. It’s just me learning how to live in a home. What helps me grow is guidance, not punishment. With a stable routine, regular walks, and positive reinforcement, I can gradually build confidence and feel more secure. I’m smart and curious, and with the right support, I learn step by step at my own pace. In the beginning, it’s really important for me to have a calm environment and not too much overwhelming stimulation. If I’m given space and time to feel safe, I will slowly open my heart. And when I do, I will stay by your side with all my loyalty and love. I may not be the easiest dog at first, but I promise I have a heart that is ready to love deeply once I feel safe. I’m Lucas — a small dog with short legs, a long journey behind me, and a big hope for a forever family who will understand me and walk with me at my own pace. 🐾 Lucas

Health Condition Spayed. Microchipped, negative for heartworm upon retest (treatment complete) and dental scaling completed. Due to a small fracture in her right molars and tartar buildup, special care is taken to brush her teeth.2.) Rescue Story Victor was rescued by an Adogs volunteer while she was tied up tightly in a gravel lot. When found, she had clearly been neglected for a long time — food that had gone bad was piled next to her, and she looked frightened. But as soon as she felt safe, she wagged her tail and approached.3.) Basic Information With People: Gets along well with strangers as long as they don’t rush or approach in a threatening manner. Becomes affectionate if you approach and give her love. Acts cute and flops down comfortably when being petted by familiar people. Loves cuddling close to people. If you come home, she will hurry out to welcome you warmly. Is reactive with people who are running towards her, but she quickly stops if you tell her no. With Dogs: Gets along well with her foster family’s dog. Previously, she got overstimulated when seeing other dogs on walks but through training, she now calms down quickly and focuses on treats. Growls at first when she meets a dog at a dog friendly cafe, but stays still when they keep their distance. Is possessive of toys and sometimes tries to threaten other dogs when they play with her toy. Is getting training to fix this behaviour. With Cats: Although she growls at cats on walks, she stops quickly and passes by if you tell her to go. Separation Anxiety: Experiences anxiety when left alone, barking and scratching at the door. Does not feel separation anxiety when with other dogs or strangers though. Potty Training: Is very good with using pee pads. However, she remembers the first spot it was placed, so consistency in pad location is key. Prefers to go outside if possible and marks with her pee only when outside. Hygiene: Does excellently with baths and toothbrushing, and enjoys brushing. Does not like having her ears cleaned, so mouths at her foster parent’s hand as a warning without biting. Is very afraid of nail clipping, so it’s mostly handled through walks. Walks: Gets aggressive when birds or cats pass by. On days when she’s feeling irritable, she lunges with overstimulation and doesn't calm down when she sees other dogs. But on good days, she immediately refocuses on her guardian upon being called. Tends to pull on the leash hard only when other dogs are around or if she’s in a rush to potty. Is reluctant to go for walks on dark or cold days. Car Sickness: No motion sickness during a two-hour drive. Caution is required as there may be defensive (warning) biting if she is suddenly pushed to the side, if someone puts their face too close, if picked up abruptly, if bothered when she is already tired, or during ear cleaning. Doesn’t bark even at strangers outside the door as long as they don’t ring the doorbell. Barks briefly when family returns to home. Loves food very much. While this used to lead to some sensitivity (resource guarding) around her foster sibling, this behavior has improved significantly. Doesn’t like being bothered. Is okay with her foster sibling, but doesn’t like other dogs. Understands commands such as 'Sit down', 'Lie down', 'Turn', 'Nose', 'V', 'Paw', 'Wait', and 'Kiss'! Is a cutie pie that loves people. However, she has an independent side and dislikes being bothered too much.

Tully   Name: Tully Age: 3 years Breed: Welsh Corgi Mix Sex: Spayed Female Color: Brown & White Weight: 7.2 kg (15.9 lbs) Height: 33 cm (13 in) at the shoulder   Rescue Story   Tully was rescued from a municipal shelter along with her puppies. Thankfully, all of her puppies have already found loving homes, and now it is Tully’s turn to find a family of her own.   ‍‍‍ Personality with People   Tully is an affectionate, social, and people-loving girl. She happily approaches both familiar people and strangers, leans in for affection, and enjoys being petted.   She loves women, men, and children alike, including children under 13 years old. Tully will often approach kids on her own to ask for pets and attention.   She is comfortable being picked up with an arm under her belly and, once she trusts someone, she will gladly roll over for belly rubs. If you stop petting her too soon, don’t be surprised if she politely asks for more!   Personality with Other Dogs   Tully is just as friendly with dogs as she is with people. She eagerly greets both familiar and unfamiliar dogs and often invites them to play.   She is especially gentle and nurturing with younger dogs and puppies. In fact, puppies with their own mothers often choose to follow Tully because of her sweet and caring personality.   She generally gets along best with dogs that are similar in size or smaller than herself.   Cats   Tully has not been tested with cats, but a cat test can be arranged for approved applicants.   Energy Level   Tully has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor adventures and activities, but once exercise time is over, she is happy to relax quietly by your side.   Walks & Exercise   Because Tully required medical treatment after her rescue, she has not had many opportunities for regular walks yet. However, she naturally follows people well, has shown no fear of being outdoors, and is expected to continue gaining confidence with consistent walks and positive experiences.   Additional Information   No food guarding toward people or other dogs Friendly and easygoing temperament Calm and quiet in a kennel or crate Currently accustomed to outdoor potty habits   May bark at unfamiliar people Can be vocal when asking for attention or something she wants   Ideal Home   Tully would thrive in a home looking for a loving, affectionate companion who enjoys being close to both people and other dogs. Her friendly nature, moderate energy level, and compact size make her a wonderful fit for many different households, including families with respectful children or another friendly dog.   After raising her puppies and watching them find homes of their own, it’s finally Tully’s turn to be someone’s beloved family member.   Could Tully be the missing piece of your family? Iron: The impossible springIron shouldn’t exist, and yet… he does. Iron defies all the laws of nature. How is it possible to jump over three feet high when your legs are only six inches long? We don’t know. How is it possible to perform all those soccer-style dribbles with a metal plate in your hip? It’s a mystery to us. Iron is a glitch in the Matrix, an unsolvable mathematical problem of the millennium. Iron is Houdini, a shepherd, Brad Pitt in Thelma & Louise. Iron is Albert Einstein and Groucho Marx.
