Story
Meet our glowing mama-to-be, Strudel! 🐾 possibly a 3-yr old dachshund mix, she currently weighs 15 pounds and is just about due to have her puppies! She’s calm and unbothered by fireworks or loud noises, endlessly kind and gentle, and always mindful around the pool. When she’s in the mood for extra love, she makes the most adorable little grunts and grumbles to let you know. She’s very shy at first, but warms-up if she receives affection. We’re so excited to see what she brings—any guesses on how many sweet pups she’ll have? 🐶✨ https://linktr.ee/loveconnectiondogrescueaz?utm_source=qr_code

Story
Meet Kali—a lovable, loyal little lady with a big personality! Kali is the perfect blend of curious and cuddly. She’s an explorer at heart and enjoys checking out her surroundings, but she’s no troublemaker—Kali does great at home even when left alone. True to her dachshund roots, she’s got a strong prey drive and loves chasing birds or the occasional feral cat, so she’ll do best in a home without small pets like cats, guinea pigs, or reptiles. Kali lives for park days and adores playing chase with her doggie pals. She’d thrive in a home with a secure backyard (she is part dachshund, after all—digging is in her DNA!) and would love a furry sibling to hang out with while her humans are away. She gets along well with other dogs her size. Kali isn’t shy about expressing herself—if she thinks she’s missing out on the fun, she’ll let you know with a few vocal opinions. :) When the day winds down, Kali transforms into a total cuddlebug. She’ll gently nuzzle in close, letting you know she’s ready for some cozy snuggles and a little extra love. This sweet girl is ready to bring joy, adventure, and a whole lot of love to her forever family. EMAIL ADOPT@VALLEYDOGS.ORG to meet Kali and see for yourself what a gem she is!

Story
Cooper was our daughter’s dog. He had a brother that passed away in 2024 so we kept him so the didn’t have to split up. My daughter’s current dog doesn't like him so we have kept him. Cooper is 17 years old and seems to be deaf. He can see. He has no teeth they were all removed due to bad teeth. He is doggie door trained. He sleeps very much and is not very active. He likes treats around 6am and dinner around 4pm. We have been feeding him ground turkey and fresh pet food mixed. He can eat dry food as well. We recently sold our home and moved into our RV and we are gone for long periods of time due to work and it’s not fair to him any longer for him to be stuck without his dog door. We are charging to rehome him. We just would like a loving home for him.
