Small but mighty! This little Girl with her pups were found in the Mohave County Animal Shelter in Kingman AZ. The pups have found their forever homes, so now it is mom's turn to do tthe same. She is a sweetheart, but the shelter was very scary for her and she is learning to trust again. ##2308572##

I might hang back at first while I decide if things are safe. But once I’m comfortable, that’s when my true self comes out. I really enjoy attention, especially from my people. I like to lean into them for reassurance, press close, and soak up that feeling of being safe. And yes I’m a big fan of giving kisses once I know you’re kind. I may start off nervous, but my heart is gentle and loving. With patience and a calm presence, I’ll happily curl into you, wag my tail, and show you just how much love I have to give.

Once I feel safe and understand that I’m okay, my heart opens fast. I’m incredibly sweet, affectionate, and ready to be everyone’s best friend. Give me a little patience and gentle encouragement, and you’ll see just how social I can be. I lean in, I cuddle, I follow you around, and I soak up every bit of attention.I’m not closed off... I’m just waiting for reassurance. When I get it, I love with my whole puppy heart.

I adore attention and being close to my people... it’s my favorite place to be. Leashes? Yeah… I don’t really get those yet. Walking nicely is still a work in progress, and I might freeze, flop, or wander instead. But I’m trying, and I promise my heart is in the right place.
