Story
Meet Momma Oro, or Goldie. She is a Dachshund Sheppard mix (about 16lbs) and as chill as they come. She just weaned her 5 puppies so she's enjoying her newfound freedom by sun bathing and catching up on sleep. Her ideal home would be one with kids (she's GREAT with all ages of kids), and a yard for her to explore. And when she's excited she will "herd" you around by booping the back of your leg. She is heartworm positive and will be going through treatment. A home that is able to take her to her appointments in Denver and keep her calm over the months will be needed.  ##2040194##

NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION DUE TO MEDICAL NEEDS. Meet Willow! This sweet baby was surrendered to our rescue partner with a broken pelvis after being hit by a car. She is currently with a medical foster while she recovers and is seeing a specialist to determine a course of action for her care. She is not yet available for adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
** If you are interested in adopting River, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** Meet River, probably one of the silliest dog you'll ever meet! His hair is so intriguing, as its short around most of his body, except for scruff on his face and a scruffy puff at the end of his tail like a lion! River came to Farfel's Rescue from a small high-kill shelter in TX. He was picked up as a stray, and we received a plea to get him out of the shelter.River then got a ticket to Colorado to start a new life and find a loving home. River is believed to be a Dachshund / Schnauzer mix, who is 3 year old and 15 lbs. From River's foster: * * * "River is the sweetest boy, he absolutely loves being around people. In addition to being a great cuddler, he is also an amazing hiking buddy. Don’t let his little legs fool you, we just hiked the first and second Flatiron and I could barely keep up with him! He loves being outside in general and going on walks. In the home, he is very relaxed and easygoing, always looking to cuddle up right next to you He's doing great with my dogs, and they even eat side by side with no issues. They all walk together on their own leashes. He does bark at other dogs when we are out in public, but in the house (and off leash) he is great with other dogs. He just cannot be introduced to another dog if he is on a leash. He is house trained (woohoo!) and he sleeps through the night. " * * * Most of the time these rescue dogs have not had any training. Unfortunately we do not know much of River's background. A (virtual or in-person) positive reinforcement group training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence for a young dog whose self-esteem will fly high while he masters his skills. Training is so important in the future behaviors of every dog. It's for this reason that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this loving choice. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of both in-person and virtual positive reinforcement / force- free trainers in your area. Our training requirement is to help every adoption be successful. River has been fully vetted, is up to date on his vaccines, and neutered. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. If you are interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ . **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application.

Story
Cheese Wiz is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and spay. This dog is good with other dogs, cats, and children. This puppy is working on kennel training, housebreaking, and house etiquette. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Ellie is a 2-3 year old short legged, long bodied cutie weighing about 30lbs.  Ellie was dumped at a shelter in New Mexico with her six babies.  Overcrowded shelters in this partilcar area are very unsafe for pups, especially unvaccinated pups.  Ellie worked so hard to keep her puppie healthy and safe, she was suuuch a good Momma.  By the time we were able to find the fosters to get her and her pups from the shelter, two of them had passed away, most likely from intestinal parasites, which is 100% preventable, if only treated.  While broken hearted, we felt lucky that we were able to save the four that we did and we could tell Momma Ellie was very grateful too.  Ellie has now been in a foster home on her own for a few weeks and is ready to find her forever family.  Here is what her foster Momma has to say about her: "Ellie is a sweet, shy girl that loves treats and snuggles.  She is still a little nervous with everything she has been through, but she has been learning how to be a dog at her foster home and it is so fun to watch her grow and learn each day.  Ellie has learned that the crate isnt scary because of the yummy treats she gets, she is very food motivated.  She would do well with another dog around her size to learn from, love, and play with.  Ellie loves bed time and snuggles close with her foster Momma and the other dogs all night.  She has the cutest smile when shes really happy and getting love and pets.  She will make an absolutely wonderful companion for someone" If you are interested in adopting Ellie, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##2034602##

Story
Gibbs - MN Dachshund x 3.5 yrs est. birthday 10/28/2020 and he is a whopping 9.8 lbs.   Can you believe we saw Gibbs at a shelter and no one wanted this adorable little shortie? Gibbs is a doxie/chi mix and those ears are to die for!  I just want to pet him and snuggle him.  Since he has the doxie in him and a long doxie back, older children over 10 are going to be the best fit as he can be injured easily.  Gibbs will need a safe yard (they can get out easily) and door safety rules (if you have kids). He would like a friend to play with as he is playful!  Put in an application today at eapl.com.  His adoption fee is $375 June 15, 2024, 8:30 am
