Story
Cooper is an 7-year-old Dachshund, Miniature Poodle, and Chihuahua mix with a big personality and a loyal heart. He loves walks, squeaky toys, and curling up on your lap or in a cozy corner. Cooper can be nervous and defensive at times. He has a history of growling or snapping when being handled roughly (for example, touching his paws, or a stranger putting on his harness) or at the vet. He's uncomfortable with children and needs an adult-only home. At the vet, he requires sedation and a muzzle due to fear. Cooper may bark or lunge at unfamiliar dogs but has learned to focus on his person with training and treats. He's house-trained, loves learning, and is very food-motivated. With a calm, experienced adopter who respects his boundaries, Cooper will show his gentle, affectionate side and become a devoted, loving companion who just wants a quiet, safe place to belong. Cooper is being re-homed due to the birth of a child, as he requires a child-free environment.

Red is a sweet quiet gorgeous auburn colored full-blood dachshund. She is a bit timid at first but will make a wonderful pet as an only pet or in a home with other small dogs. Her foster home does not have cats or kids, but she has shown no aggression with people or other small dogs even during feeding time. She is crate trained and is working on house-breaking and is learning from the other dogs. She is going to be the love of someone’s life. Will it be you?

All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Cam Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $425 Meet Cam: This adorable little man is such a cutie and ready for his forever home! Cam would likely prefer to be the only dog in the home or coexist with a very calm dog. Although he seemed dog friendly while in the shelter, he has begun struggling with leash reactivity and resource guarding his favorite toys. From Their Previous Shelter: Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/XsYTe_MgqRs Playing with small dog - https://youtube.com/shorts/UHr8-HeX0dU Interested in this furry companion? With a passionate team we are a foster-based animal rescue, partnering with the community to provide shelter and resources prioritizing the animals’ well-being. Every adoption fee directly helps a rescued animal make it safely from a shelter to a loving home. As a nonprofit, we put these fees right back into vet care, food, transport, and all the support to help the next animal. You're not just adopting, you're saving a life and fueling another rescue journey! *Our Mission* At All Aboard Animal Rescue, our mission is to address the global pet overpopulation crisis through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Together, we are making a difference!

Story
Paige is located in Texas but can be transported once adopted. The transport fee is $230 in addition to her adoption fee.Meet Paige… a spunky 5 year old who is looking for a family to love and snuggle with. Paige was surrendered to us by a woman after she had been abandoned at her house for a year by a sibling. She has been an outside dog and is learning to be housed trained. She has been introduced to numerous dogs at her foster family and has had no trouble adjusting. Her favorite activity is sleeping… either in your lap, or on the back of the couch. When it’s time to go outside… she spins in circles with excitement then quickly runs outside to explore and sniff everything. She has excellent recall and comes back quickly when called if not on a leash. She is happiest when her person is near. She will make an excellent companion to anyone looking for unconditional love.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41
