Meet Missy! Missy is an approximately 6 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix weighing about 9 pounds. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. Missy comes to us from a back yard breeding situation. She came in Heartworm Positive but has been successfully treated! YAY! Missy is shy and will require a patient adopter. She sometimes enjoys playing with other small friends. She is good with cats and other dogs her size. Missy does pretty well with pee pads and also enjoys going outside. We adopted Oppie from Pet Alliance 8 years ago. We kept his name given to him by the shelter. He was meant to keep my mom company. She passed away in 2023. I needed both our incomes to take care of his food and grooming. I fell last year and fractured my wrist. I am still doing physical therapy. I have Vertigo. I can’t walk him like I should. His food, shots, nails upkeep is too expensive. He needs some one active who can go for walks, rub his belly. I feed him at 8 am and 6pm. Dental stick at Noon. He cleans his plate. He whines to reminds me it’s time to eat. I only feed him into his bowl. He has a hard plant based chew stick. He likes to roll around out in the backyard and sits in the sun. He’s ok with baths. He likes to play in the sprinkler. Oppie comes with a crate, 3 beds, leash, famous dog mix, etc.

I am full time caregiver for my Dad. Rudy is my parents sweet baby. My mom spoiled him and she has passed away and my dad has Alzheimers. I can no longer care for both. Rudy loves everyone and needs a more active home. Dad keeps saying to put him to sleep. I hesitate because he is sweet but he does have allergies and is overweight due to being spoiled! I take him every month for his allergy shot but doesnt seem to help. I think he is depressed. Please find a fun acrive rehome!
