Story
Her name is Beba, and she is a sweet dog who deserves another chance. I got her when my sister was incarcerated, as Beba was originally her dog. Unfortunately, Beba has a history of being abused and was bitten by larger dogs, which has affected her trust and behavior. With patience and love, I was able to crate train her and help her overcome food aggression. I truly believe Beba can be an amazing dog with the right person and environment. She has experienced difficult situations and has not always had the care and stability she needed. She was returned to my sister after she was released, but since then Beba has started showing signs of aggression again and does not do well with other dogs. My sister recently got a new puppy, and Beba is not adjusting well to sharing her space. We are desperately looking for a new home for Beba where someone can give her the patience, structure, and love she needs. She still has so much potential and deserves the chance to be loved.

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! NOTE: Adelina is bonded with Jolene and they must be adopted together. Adelina is a 5yo, 11lb. merle miniature dachshund and her mother Jolene is a 6 1/2yo, 13lb. merle miniature dachshund. These two are extremely bonded and must be adopted together. They are both as sweet as they are cute. They are friendly with all people, dogs and cats. They walk well on leash and ride in the car with no issues, and are crate trained. These smart girls bark a little if they perceive danger, but are easily corrected. They play with toys but their favorite thing is playing together. These girls always want to be near their person, so where you walk they will follow. They came from a good home but sadly their owner had dementia so her family had to surrender them. For anyone wanting a wonderful mini doxie duo, these two are it. Their adoption fee is $250 each. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for these two cuddle bugs, complete an app and tell us more about you. June 26, 2026, 11:53 pm

Story
Scooby is a 5 year old Dachshund Bully mix weighing approximately 35 pounds. He was surrendered when his owner lost her job and was forced to move in with relatives. You can see the sadness in his eyes ☹. He is very timid and laid back, complacent and mellow. Needless to say, he is very depressed and won’t even eat (not even treats). His adoption donation is $250 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Please help him to feel loved again. https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p169/Scooby_Doo.html

Story
Rusty was a stray, rescued from the street in 2020 at 18 months old. He is a sweet boy who is housetrained. He is 26 pounds and is a Dachshund mixed with what I think is a pitt/terrier. He is strong for such a little pup. He knows how to sit and stay and will come when called. He does best when crated when you are away, or when taken out regularly when you are home. He would do quite well with a fenced in yard and lots of time to chase lizards. He is a sweet boy who loves snuggles and his toys. I need to rehome him because my kids are now grown and I am not home enough to care for him like he deserves.
