Story
Rocky is a very loving dog. Ive had him for seven years. He was my grandfathers dog and when my grandfather passed away I took him in. Before my grandfather had him he was a stray and he was very overweight and had bad teeth. I was able to get him back on track health wise. He lost a lot of weight and got fit and has been a great dog for me through the years. Fast-forward to today and I just had a baby. My baby is two months old and I cant care for Rocky the way I use to. Also the baby is very allergic to the dog. Rocky needs someone who will be home with him more often and able to give him the time and attention he needs. He is 100% a lap dog who loves to cuddle. He loves squeaky toys and wearing clothes. His only downfall is he will potty in the house when Im gone. I hope to find him a loving home that will care for him for the rest of his life. I do care for him very deeply and that is why I think someone else can give him a better quality of life than I can provide.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Dexter is an almost 8 month old Dachshund-Rottweiler mix puppy with a whole lot of personality. Dexter is a total cuddle bug who’s always up for an adventure. Whether it’s zoomies in the yard, lounging on the couch for hours, or hopping in the shower (yes, he actually loves showers!), he’s all in. He greets you at the door with a toy in his mouth, proudly ready to play. Best welcome home ever He’s crate trained, knows “sit” and “go home” (to his crate), and is doing well with housebreaking as long as he’s taken out regularly. He hasn’t quite figured out how to ask to go out yet. He walks well on leash after the initial excitement wears off and doesn’t pull or react to other dogs or people. Dexter loves other dogs and is super playful, though he can be a little dominant with toys & at mealtime. He prefers his food space respected. We believe with some guidance and proper training he’ll grow out of that quickly; he’s very smart and extremely food motivated. Like many pups his age, Dexter is still learning what he’s not supposed to chew on, so he’ll need someone patient and consistent as he grows up. But his sweet nature, eagerness to please, and all-around happy energy make him an amazing family dog in the making. Ready to welcome this adorable, cuddly, toy-bringing shower lover into your life? His  adoption donation is $260 & will include age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, and neuter.  Please follow the link to submit an application:     https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 3, 2025, 10:13 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Wally is an almost 8 month old Dachshund-Rottweiler mix puppy. He is a total head-turner, so if you love attention when you take your pup out, this is your guy!! Wally is the perfect mix of playful pup and snuggly sidekick. He’ll romp around when you’re ready to play, but he’s also more than happy to chill out and soak up all the cuddles. Wally is crate trained, a great sleeper, and is already working hard on learning his basic commands. He’s still mastering potty training & has  occasional accidents (especially during big storms), so he’ll need someone patient and consistent to continue training. He’s also working on leash training and will do just about anything for a treat; this boy is super smart and food motivated! Wally loves toys, adores other dogs, and greets every person like an old friend. He’s got a soft spot for potted plants (watch those leaves!), so a little supervision and redirecting will go a long way. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind pup with a heart full of love and a tail full of personality, Wally’s your guy. His  adoption donation is $260 & will include age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, and neuter.  Please follow the link to submit an application:     https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 14, 2025, 11:54 am

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Peanut Butter is the sweetest girl! This 5yo, 7.6 lb. Chiweenie (chihuahua/mini dachshund mix) is timid at first and will need time to get to know you before she will commit to being your friend. But once she does, she is your bestie! She favors women, is skittish around men and may never warm up to a male in the home, so for that reason we are adopting her to an all-female home only. She loves to cuddle in the human bed at night (this is a must for her) and sleeps all through the night under the covers. With her short legs, she will need stairs or a ramp onto the bed and couch. She is house trained and loves, loves her daily walks, doing a happy dance when the harness and leash come out. She enjoys her brisk walks, stopping to sniff along the way, and is energized when she sees a squirrel teasing her. Daily walks are a must for her. She is non-reactive to people and dogs on her walks. She also loves searching out lizards. Belly rubs are also a favorite. She is dog and cat friendly (ignores a cat), and gains comfort from a fur sibling. Her forever home must have another friendly dog in the home because when she is left alone she has severe separation anxiety. She loves meal times and getting treats. She cutely stands on her hind legs waiting for her treat. She loves chewing on a Benebone or chew bone. One of her favorite things is sun bathing on the screened-in porch area. She isn’t a big barker, but does bark when she perceives danger. She does well riding in a car in her doggy booster seat. Once she gets used to her new situation and comes out of her shell, she is a happy and fun little dog. She is sad when she is left behind, and cries for a little while, so we are wanting someone for her who is home most of the time. We want a smaller fenced yard for her to run around in, but with her tiny size, it must be totally secure with no gaps where she can squeeze out. Due to her small size, we prefer an all-adult home for her, but if the home has a child, an older respectful child will be considered. Whoever adopts this sweet girl is truly getting a gem. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, match all of her qualifications in this profile, and believe you have the perfect home for Peanut Butter, please complete an app and tell us more about you.    July 12, 2025, 11:09 am
