Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet little Twitch, an almost 4 year old, 9 lb dachshund / chihuahua mix (best guess). He absolutely loves his people and is happy to be wherever you are! He is dog friendly and is currently fostered with another dog. He took some time to warm up to her but now engages in play and tug with her! He has been cat tested and did well, and cohabitated with cats without issue.    Twitch is leash trained, crate trained, and potty pad trained, and he is working on being outdoor potty trained!     As he’s settled in with his foster family, we’ve learned even more about his cute personality! He adorably spins in circles when he gets excited, has an impressive jump, has started to play with toys, does great in the car, and is always so happy to meet new human friends! He’s tolerant in the bath but seems to really like the pool - he’s jumped in to join foster mom and is a strong swimmer! After a dip in the pool he happily does zoomies around the deck. He gets along well with his foster sister and understands corrections from other dogs. He’s learning “leave it” and responds well to praise!    Twitch is a very affectionate boy and he LOVES attention. He is very food motivated and prefers to be left alone while chowing down. He can become protective of high value treats and needs a slow approach, startled by sudden movements, and thus would do best in a no children home.   Twitch loves to be in your lap receiving love and attention. He has a gorgeous coat and has been tolerant to brushing. He recently had a teeth cleaning and is now donning sparkly white teeth!  Twitch’s adoption donation is $210 and will include neuter, microchip and age appropriate vaccines. Story
Meet Fergie and Bandit!  This pair were found in their owner’s home days after their owner passed away.  So sad.  Fergie is a 4 year old mini dachshund  (maybe mixed) with the most adorable overbite!  She is extremely friendly and affectionate.  Fergie loves to cuddle and snuggle and will sleep buried under your covers with you all night.  She walks well on leash and is house broken.  She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heart worm negative. Bandit is a 15 year old rat terrier and is a grumpy old man.  He will NOT allow to be picked up at all.  He is happiest just moseying around and sleeping.  Bandit is great on leash and enjoys walks with Fergie.  Bandit is house broken. Neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heart worm negative. This is a two-for-one adoption.  Adoption fee and contract required.Email californianoodles@gmail.com  ##2044041##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bob Scratchit: Your Goofy, Loving Basset Hound Mix Bob Scratchit, a 2-year-old basset hound mix weighing 50 pounds, arrived at The London Sanctuary from Bradford County animal control. Bob is a big ol' puppy at heart, and his goofy personality is sure to bring a smile to your face. In his foster home, Bob is a bundle of joy. He adores his toys, especially interactive plush hide & seek toys that challenge his curious mind. When it's time to settle down, Bob happily retreats to his soft crate, where he dreams of new adventures. Although he protests going into the crate during the day with adorable hound-like bays, he eventually settles down and enjoys his cozy space. Bob is a very curious boy, full of wonder and excitement. It's important to ensure he's in a safe space like his crate or a secure room when left alone to prevent any mischief. He doesn't have any aggression issues and is already housebroken. However, Bob is still learning obedience and manners; he loves to jump onto surfaces and explore everything within his reach. Walking on a leash is enjoyable for him, although he could use some guidance in leash manners during walks. Bob is good with other dogs but may not always understand when playtime is over for his playmates. He hasn't met any cats yet, and while he's good with kids due to his passive and sweet nature, we are recommending only older children due to his exuberance! If you're looking for a loving and playful addition to your family, Bob Scratchit is your guy. His ears even double as his own personal eye mask when he sleeps, adding to his unique charm! We are looking for a Basset experienced home for this ball of fun!! Bob is heartworm negative, up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $300, and The London Sanctuary requires home visits to ensure the best match. Contact them at foster@thelondonsanctuary.com or find them on Facebook or Instagram to meet Bob and bring some fun chaos into your home!
