Story
Meet Carly, she is the sweetest soul with a heart as vast as the sky above! Carly was found as a stray, completely frozen and trembling under a car in a busy parking lot. She’s had several litters of puppies at only 4yrs old so she was most likely used by a breeder and then discarded to the streets when no longer useful. Since being rescued, she’s made remarkable progress, slowly blossoming into a loving little partner. As Carly is a testament to true resilience, she is still on her journey to full recovery and finding a loving family to support her through it. With her peaceful demeanor, she is a perfect fit for homes with other pets; she mingles harmoniously with everyone, truly a lover, not a fighter. Her favorite pastime? Curling up in a cozy dog bed, letting the hours drift by in blissful relaxation. She isn’t one to beg for treats; instead, she’ll steal your heart with her adorable eyes full of gratitude when you give her belly scratches. Adopt Carly and discover the quiet joy of her companionship. She’s not only looking for a house to live in, but a home to thrive in, filled with love and gentle pats.   Adoption fee is $200 and includes a veterinarian visit, deworming, age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and microchip lifetime registration. Story
Ruffles is the sweetest little man. He likes to lounge with his favorite people all day long. He enjoys watching the birds, sniffing in the yard and snuggling up close on the couch. He does well on walks, is learning to enjoy car rides, and is perfectly content with other animals. He's had a somewhat challenging few years, coming from a hoarding situation, but is really coming into his own and will continue to do so in a calm environment. He loves wet food and his squeaky toy, but isn't a fan of dry food or being in his crate. He does a great job of staying in his bed at night when his favorite people are close by. He is still working on potty training and has some medication for anxiety. DOB 5/2019 - 20lbs Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. Please fill out our application at https://gkarma.wufoo.com/forms/good-karma-pet-rescue-dog-adoption-screening/ if you would like to adopt or meet this dog, and we will be in touch right away!

Story
Noah is the sweetest and happiest little guy. He has been through so much - abandoned, hit and left to suffer and die on the side of the road, FHO (femoral head ostectomy) and surgery to repair his femur so he could walk again, therapy -- just so much for this little dude, and through it all, he has never been anything but sweet and loving. We have been hoping for a foster home where he will be able to continue his recovery and we are so thankful that a wonderful and compassionate foster has asked to take him and will provide sweet little Noah with the comfortable home environment he needs to complete his healing process - and of course, get lots of love. Noah is currently in a foster home in Orlando, Florida. For more information or to complete an adoption application go to adoptions@redlandrockpit.org.

Story
Pina is a 1 year old female. She weighs 13 pounds. Pina is good with other dogs. She came from a hoarder house and is a weirdo. She’s not at all aggressive, but the inbreeding that happened in that house was hard on her. She likes to be pet, but gets scared of hands sometimes. Her eyes are structurally not correct and she’s been like that since birth. She can see, but mostly shadows and light and dark. She is crate trained and likes to know how things go, a strict schedule isn’t necessary, but her place to eat and sleep should be consistent. Sometimes she runs in circles, but she isn’t bothered by it She will need a patient family, but she is well worth it! If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the DRSF Online Adoption form.My adoption fee covers all my (prior) vet care (adopter receives vet records).  For more information refer to the DRSF Adoption Fee page.If you have any questions about adoption or want more info, you can email: info@dachshundrescuesouthflorida.comJuly 7, 2024, 11:31 am
