Brooklyn is a one year old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix).  30 pounds- and yes, she needs to be on a diet!  Good with other dogs and all the people she meets, including children.  Adopter will be required to have her spayed and brought up to date on her vaccines and testing. Brooklyn is in our direct-from owner program.  Chesed Rescue will background and vet check all applicants and adoption will be directly from the owner.  There will be no adoption fee, though donations to the rescue are appreciated. My wife Marilyn Farmer, adopted Sandi, in her name back in 2016 at your location, Peggy Adams. At that time you informed us Sandi was 2 years and 10 months old so she is about 13 years old. My wife has become sick with the dog and can no longer be near the dog. Sandi is very protective on me Kevin Farmer, and she really doesn't like children. She is a good dog and it is very hard for me to give her up. I would love to keep Sandi until she reaches her time in this world, but I cannot keep Sandi anymore. Sandi doesn't have any health problems and she still moves like she is a puppy. This is really hard for me, so I hope someone can take Sandi in their home. Sandi is trained to use indoor potty pads. If you walk her she will use the outside as well. Also we have a doggie door for sliding glass door, pet food, dog treats, dog bowls, 2 sets of stairs for beds, leashes, body harness, medicated dog shampoo, doggie pads, you can have. Thanks Kevin

10 year old 16 pound dachshund mix from Puerto Rico  Pepe came to us with a badly broken leg, horrible teeth and heartworm positive.  His leg was unable to be saved, but he gets around great on three legs. He loves to go for walks and has his very own stroller for when he’s rather ride than walk.  He is good with kids, adults and other dogs.
