2 year old male from Puerto Rico  24 pounds  Sweet and snuggly boy  Happy and friendly  He is good with other dogs Good with adults and older children    Cremi is obese, he is on a weight loss plan and we will only adopt him to a family that is committed to continue this plan. The weight he is at is unhealthy for him and we want him to be the very best Cremi that he can be.  When Cremi is matched with an approved adoptive family, they will talk with the foster family about what is being done to help Cremi drop the pounds. He’s already down almost 3 pounds. 12 year old male, 17 pounds Darwin is naked.  Dogs of this silver color are beautiful and have lovely coats when they are young and then lose their fur as they age.   Cuddly and sweet boy  Loves everyone  Good with other dogs  Darwin came to us paralyzed, we had him go to a neurologist and have surgery, but it did not restore his ability to walk. He has drag bags and a cart that will go with him. 2 year old 28 pound standard dachshund mix. Maple is a sweet and friendly girl. She loves belly rubs and is good with people.  Maple is NOT good with other dogs.  She is fine being walked around other dogs, but will not be adopted to a home with another dog. She shouldn’t be allowed to meet other dogs on walks or go to dog parks. Meet Beans! He came home with me at 8 weeks from a breeder in Alabama and from the second I held him, he has been the happiest little companion imaginable. If I had to describe him in once sentence it’s that you’ll never feel alone with him around. He absolutely loves new people, no matter if family or strangers, and has a sweet, affectionate personality. He loves to snuggle and his favorite spot is around your shoulders, almost like a living neck pillow. He is incredibly playful and energetic - loves walks, adventures, and being challenged but also content to just snuggle. Despite all this, he is incredibly quiet - I have never actually heard him bark. He’s always calm and polite. He did have a hernia at birth, but was surgically repaired and has recovered completely
