4.5 month old 9 pound male Sweet and snuggly boy Goofy is a double dapple, because of this, he has 2 very underdeveloped eyes. He can see light and dark, but we don’t think much more than that. He isn’t bothered by it at all. Goofy did have parvo and we are thrilled to let everyone know that he has tested negative TWICE! He’s good to head on to the rest of his life! Because Goofy did have parvo, he is not yet neutered. This being the case, he is available for foster to adopt ONLY. What this means is that a family that is lucky enough to bring him home will foster him until he is ready to be neutered, once that happens, the family will adopt him. During that time, DRSF will manage and cover all of his medical bills. To be considered to foster to adopt Goofy, the family MUST live in Palm Beach, Broward or Miami Dade county so that he stays close to our partner vets. 16 year old female 15 pounds Bella lost her mom and there was no one in the family that was able to take her. She’s a sweet girl who loves having a soft bed to sleep in. She likes short jaunts out in the yard to explore and loves to eat! Bella has a heart murmur and yucky teeth. Because of her heart, she isn’t able to undergo anesthesia, so we are letting this little girl live out the rest of her life the way she is. We don’t know how much time Bella has, but we’d love to see her spend it in a forever home. 3 year old 13 pound female Maggie came to us with IVDD, she was unable to walk. She had surgery and lots of rehab and she is walking well. Her gait is not perfect, but very close. Maggie is not a dog that will ever be able to go on long walks, short potty walks are fine. Maggie is a little nervous around new people and does not like children. Her perfect home is one where her people are home more than not and there isn’t a lot of coming and going. She loves to play and would love to have a playmate.
