Story
Meet Sandy! A spirited eight-year-old mixed breed from Hollywood, FL, whose essence is a lively ball of energy wrapped in a beautiful coat of white with fawn patches. Sandy is a playful senior who loves to engage in ball games all day long! Her eyes light up with pure joy every time you toss a ball her way, making her an excellent companion for someone who enjoys interactive play. Even though Sandy is in her golden years, her energy and zest for life make her seem much younger. Sandy may not have received formal obedience training, but she is house-trained and knows how to behave indoors. She’s selective about her furry friends, getting along well with some dogs and cats but preferring her own space with others. When left alone for short periods, Sandy does just fine, showcasing her independence and adaptability. Fast movements can make Sandy a bit anxious, so a calm and steady environment would be perfect for her. She thrives on a routine that includes open feeding and enjoys leisurely walks twice a week. This routine helps keep her happy and healthy, along with her vaccinations being up to date, being spayed, and microchipped. Sandy’s medium energy level makes her a constant companion who’s always ready for a cuddle or a game of fetch! Her playful nature and endearing companionship are some of her most charming traits. She may be cautious at first, but with a little patience and love, she will warm up to you and become a loyal and loving friend. Sandy is looking for a good loving person who can offer her a caring environment where she can feel safe and cherished. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, and constant companion, Sandy could be the perfect addition to your family! Are you ready to welcome Sandy into your heart and home? If you think you can offer her the loving and patient environment she needs, reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com. Sandy is excited to find her new loving home where she can share her playful spirit and endless affection! Could that be with you?

Story
Noah is the sweetest and happiest little guy. He has been through so much - abandoned, hit and left to suffer and die on the side of the road, FHO (femoral head ostectomy) and surgery to repair his femur so he could walk again, therapy -- just so much for this little dude, and through it all, he has never been anything but sweet and loving. We have been hoping for a foster home where he will be able to continue his recovery and we are so thankful that a wonderful and compassionate foster has asked to take him and will provide sweet little Noah with the comfortable home environment he needs to complete his healing process - and of course, get lots of love. Noah is currently in a foster home in Orlando, Florida. For more information or to complete an adoption application go to adoptions@redlandrockpit.org.

Story
Pina is a 1 year old female. She weighs 13 pounds. Pina is good with other dogs. She came from a hoarder house and is a weirdo. She’s not at all aggressive, but the inbreeding that happened in that house was hard on her. She likes to be pet, but gets scared of hands sometimes. Her eyes are structurally not correct and she’s been like that since birth. She can see, but mostly shadows and light and dark. She is crate trained and likes to know how things go, a strict schedule isn’t necessary, but her place to eat and sleep should be consistent. Sometimes she runs in circles, but she isn’t bothered by it She will need a patient family, but she is well worth it! Story
Truman is a 9 year old 17 pound boy. Came to us with a mouthful of rotten teeth and huge lymph nodes. His impressive tongue has only one tooth to try to wrangle it and it’s not doing a very good job. He’s good with people big and small and all other dogs. He’s such a happy boy! He is not good with cats.
