Hi friends! My name is Henry and I am a dachshund mix! I came from a local animal control after they pulled me from a home that was not in great condition. There were too many dogs and the condition of the home was not good for anyone. I was loaded with fleas and needed medicated bags, but the kind people at animal control helped me with that. Some of my siblings ended up at sister rescues where they are getting medicated baths and getting better. I wish them all the best as they find forever homes too! I’m now all better and I’ve been fixed, I’ve gotten all of my shots, and I have a clean bill of health! My foster mom says I am cat friendly, I am dog, friendly, and I was good with kids at the adoption event last weekend. I’m also housebroken and crate trained. At six years old, I am full grown at 13 pounds. My favorite thing to do is to cuddle with my humans on a chair or couch. I’m also really good in the car and like to go for car rides. I walk pretty well on a leash as well. I can live in a house or I would be OK living in an apartment because I’m a pretty quiet guy. I don’t need much but a little bit of love and sometime.
