Story
Whimsy is a quiet, steady companion who enjoys simply being part of your world without needing to be glued to your side. She’s wonderfully independent, happy to relax nearby, join you for an outing, or hang out while you go about your day. She’s the perfect match for someone who appreciates a dog that doesn’t need constant touching or attention to feel connected. When it’s time for fun, Whimsy has plenty of playful, high-energy moments. The rest of the time, she’s a laid-back couch potato who is easy to live with. She’s crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, rides well in the car, and stays calm and quiet in the home. She’s observant, sweet in her own way, and content to entertain herself. Whimsy would do best in a home without cats. If you’re looking for a calm yet spirited dog who brings companionship without the clinginess, Whimsy might be exactly who you’ve been hoping for. Her adoption fee of $300 covers her spay, vaccines, parasite prevention, and a microchip. Visit www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com to fill out an application.

Story
Sassy is a young Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into a small, adorable body. She is playful, energetic, and absolutely lives for romping around with other dogs. Having a canine buddy to wrestle and zoom with is her happy place, and she would truly shine in a home with another playful dog. When Sassy first came into foster care, she was underweight and unsure about humans. She is learning every day that people bring good things like love, safety, and comfy beds. These days she enjoys curling up in bed with her foster family, especially at night, where she sleeps through without accidents and snores like she pays rent. Sassy loves the outdoors and is always up for playtime, backyard adventures, or a trip to the park. She walks nicely on a leash and has even been introduced to cats, which did not phase her one bit. She is crate trained and does great with routine. This sweet girl will do best with a family that enjoys being active, has patience, and understands that confidence comes with time. Once she trusts you, you are in for a loyal, fun loving little sidekick who brings laughs, cuddles, and nonstop entertainment. If you are looking for a playful pup with a big heart and even bigger personality, Sassy is ready to wiggle her way into your life. $300 adoption fee covers spay, vaccines, parasite prevention and microchip. Story
Current Location: Strasburg, VA Hello! My name is Lucy! I'm thought to be a Dachshund mix about 2 years old and I currently weigh about 31 pounds - though I am still working on getting my post baby shape back! I'm a sweet gal who enjoys the people I've met so far and I get along very well with the other dogs in the house. I especially enjoy snuggling and will jump up on the couch or recliner to lay next to people. I'm house trained, walk well on a leash and do fine in a crate though my foster family doesn't crate me anymore since I've proven to be trustworthy when left alone at night. I'm microchipped and current on my vaccines and monthly preventatives. I do still need to be spayed, which should happen the first week in January. I am heartworm positive so I need to receive that treatment before I can be adopted and should be able to go to my new home by the end of January. I’m looking for my forever family! Is that with you? If so please click “apply for adoption” or submit an application through the Adopt tab. Let’s get our family started! This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable.
