Al is not only loving and funny, he likes to guard...anything! From people to toys, if he claims it, it's his. He would do best in single home w/ one person to call his own. He likes quiet. We are looking for an experienced owner who understands his needs and has the patience to allow him to love them unconditionally (he will own you..)

Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing: LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records. SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. ** MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors. APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. This adorable girl is Ginger. She is one-year-old and weighs just 22 lb. We think she may have some dachshund in her. Ginger is doing very well at her foster home. She can be a little unsure when meeting someone new but very quickly warms up to new people. Ginger loves to play with other dogs and run around outside. She runs very fast!! She shows no resource guarding. Ginger likes to follow her foster mom around the house and is just a sweet little dog that bonds well to her humans. Ginger is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. Her adoption fee is $395 and she is ready to go home now! If you would like to meet/adopt Ginger, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org if you need assistance or have any questions.

Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Missy is located in Sharon, CT. Contact her foster mom at FixFidoNow@gmail.com Milly and her son, Uno, were originally surrendered to a large NY shelter. They went into foster care and then Milly was adopted out with her son, Uno, returned 2 years later b/c her mom had personal problems. She loved them dearly, bought a house so they would have a nice yard, but she just could not handle her life let alone them. Milly is a Dachshund. She is 12 years old and a little hearing impaired. Missy is sweet, good on a leash, in the tub, in the car. She follows you from room to room, happy to sleep on a dog bed, in an open crate or sharing your bed. Milly is a red, 12 year old, 20 pound purebred dachshund. She is spayed, shots, HW negative and microchipped.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Priscilla is that easy companion that fits seamlessly into your life, she’s smart, sweet and her tiny tail is constantly wagging. You would never guess that this 10lb Doxie/chi mix is 10 years old. She’s a happy little lady, she would love to be in either a one dog home or with another small friend. She puts up with big dogs, not aggressive or anything…just likes being in charge. She’s good with the two young kids in her foster home and loves giving kisses. She acts like she’s half her age, enjoys going on walks. Priscilla has tons of love to give & all she wants is a family to love her in return♥️ Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.
