Charming CHAMP is a middle-aged guy who likes mellow walks and quiet time with his human. He LOVES to snuggle and at 15 lbs he fits wonderfully in a lap. We estimate him to be a Dachshund / Terrier mix and about 7-9 years old. He would do best in a quiet household without children or other pets. Champ can be very protective of his people and home, so he would prefer to be your one and only - no other pets or children. Any interested applicants will need to come to the shelter to spend some time with him before adoption to understand his behaviors and how to best support him to have a happy home. The volunteers at ARF love him to bits and know he will be a wonderful buddy for the right person!

We believe she is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix and has many personality traits that we think will appeal to the Chihuahua people out there. This girl is not only beautiful, but is also housebroken, crate trained and knows several commands. She'd also be perfect for those hot summer months and cold winter months, since though she loves to be outside, she's not super fond of lengthy walks. Louis' journey to safety started in an overcrowded shelter in Texas, where she and her siblings, Lizzy, Lina, Lucile, and Liam, were out of time. Thankfully, Eleventh Hour Rescue stepped in to save them — and now these sweet pups are on their way to a brand-new life! All of the puppies in this litter are just so adorable.  They are believed to be Dachshund/Chihuahua mix puppies, about 4–5 months old, and weighing around 9 pounds.
