This sweet young boy came to us from rural Georgia to find his forever home. He would love to find an adopter who enjoys a daily walk or two and lots of play time. Being an active boy, Harvey is up for any adventure! Like his gal pal, Harley, he is ok with cats, but he likes to play/chase and some cats may not be fans. While Harvey generally likes people, he is a little unsure of men and tends to prefer the company of women. He also can be dog selective - except for his sister. Harvey would rather have all of the attention for himself and would do best as your one and only. So if you are ready for a new best buddy, why not fill out an application today and give Harvey a chance to have the forever home of his dreams!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
