Story
Welcome MICKEY to PAR!  He is about 6 years old and is a 35lb dog who thinks he is a lap dog. We THINK he is a Border Collie/Dachshund mix, but we can't be sure.  What we can be sure about is that Mickey gets along with other dogs and is house trained (uses the doggie dog).  He has known hunger so can resource guard when eating but as he gets comfortable this diminishes.   Mickey would be fine as an only dog or as part of a pack. Don't hesitate to apply to meet this handsome fellow! Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##1874246##

Story
My name is Braelynn and I am a beautiful little Dachshund girl that is 11 years old and I have lost my sweet senior momma recently. I am so sad to be looking for a new home since my momma passed away.  I am a little on the chunky side and my foster mom says that I am the sweetest and most well behaved, calm Dachshund ever.   I am totally healthy and happy and housebroken and waiting for golden home to spend my golden years left.  Critter Cavalry updated me on all my shots, microchipped me, gave me a dental and did bloodwork.  I got the health and beauty WORKS! So now could someone put me under their holiday tree and give me a present of a new home!?  Could that be you by Christmas?   Contact Critter  Cavalry at Ccrnewengland.com ASAP because I know there are lots of people who will want me!   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 11, 2023, 8:20 am

Story
Looking to rehome our dog Loki as we are unable to keep up with his energy needs. Very sweet dog just needs exercise and attention that we are not able to give him. 35 pounds, a little over 2 years old, we believe he is a Daushand Pit mix. Fixed, crate trained, and house trained. He would excel in a home with someone often there so he isn’t alone or training to be more comfortable without someone watching him. Gets along with other dogs cats people and children. He is high energy and needs daily activity. There will be a rehoming fee and will need vet references.
