Story
Madeline has been out dog for her entire six years of life. She lives to please and is very affectionate. She loves her humans and loves to play! She knows sit, stay, come, down, blanket, go lay down, toy, shake, wave, crawl, and roll. Unfortunately she can be a bit timid in new experiences. She has had some bad experiences when she was younger with large dogs and has been a bit stand-offish with them since then. We do not have a small dog but she shows great interest in small dogs. We do have a cat who she is primarily respectful of. She is timid around strangers and they timidness can sometimes result in her baring her teeth (she has never actually bit anyone). We recently had a baby and she is exhibiting some of that around him. That along with us no longer having time to devote for her has led my husband and I to decide that rehoming her may be the best situation for everyone involved.

Story
Buckley is a smart, sweet boy who has learned a lot in training, but still has a ways to go. My best guess is Dalmatian with a little Pit mixed in, so he is 55 pounds of muscle and energy. Still a puppy at 1 year and 8 months old, he is house and crate trained. Buckley would love a house with a yard for running and playing. He probably needs a household with more than one adult around to throw the ball for fetch and to snuggle with on the couch. Snacks, positive attention, massages are the way to his heart. He has a strong reaction to cars and to unfamiliar dogs when they get too close. He calms back down quickly with encouragement from his human, or if there's a squirrel, bird, or friend (dog or person) to distract him. My work schedule has changed and made it difficult for me to give him all the physical and mental exercise he needs.
