Story
Gypsy came to 2nd Chance as an owner surrender.  A dalmatian mix and medium size at 45 pounds, she is approximately 1 year and 10 months old.  We are not sure what she is mixed with, but she has brown spots on her ears, giving her ears a unique appearance. An energetic lady, she plays hard and is working on basic obedience with her foster parents.  They report that Gypsy does great in her crate. She does well with other dogs too. She will be completely vetted prior to adoption.  This includes vaccines, rabies, spay, and microchip. We are accepting preadoption applications at this time.   Adoption fee: $250

Story
FUN, FRIENDLY & ACTIVE:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 26 lbs. and needs to gain a little weight Hi, I’m Dottie!  I found myself at animal control very sick and in need of gaining some weight, so they started my care and Mostly Mutts has finished it!  I’m well now, though I do still need to gain a little more weight, but I’m ready to do that in my new home with a great family!  I got to spend some time in the prison/foster training program where I had a great time and learned a lot, too!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some other dogs at Mostly Mutts and in the prison/foster training program and liked them.  I will growl at first, but I am friendly, with a vocal style of play. Some dogs may not like this, but if you have a dog at home that may be okay with an initially growly and vocal player, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I got my name from my cute spots which everyone says are adorable.  The volunteers describe me as super sweet, playful, friendly, energetic, happy-natured and a little jumpy.  I was a good girl for my bath and even lifted each foot for cleaning which I think is quite smart of me. / I have a higher energy level of 8 – 9, so I’ll want regular exercise with my new family.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I expect to be a Mostly Mutts University graduate very soon!  So far I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘stay’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands and I know how to shake hands too.  I also use proper door etiquette and accept friendly strangers without jumping.  I look forward to learning even more. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits were good on the prison/foster training program schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love attention, treats, playing with toys and snuggling.  I’m sure we’ll find lots of other things that we will enjoy doing together. / I can’t think of any dislikes yet, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I‘m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family to love! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  November 29, 2023, 9:41 pm

Story
Anyone looking for a 30lb bed hog??!! Bonnie is 3ish years old. A beautiful pointer/terrier mix (best guess). She enjoys snuggles and cuddles and hanging out with the other dogs. Bonnie came to us after living her life outside with dozens of other dogs. She loves other dogs but was not socialized with people. She still takes a little time to warm up to new people. But once she knows you can be trusted, she is all snuggles. She is not crate trained, absolutely terrified of the crate but does well just hanging out in her "safe room" on the bed or couch. A safe room is just a non traditional crate, It's a spare room in the house she goes to when no one is home or when new people are over. Bonnie needs a special home: She will need a patient person/family that will give her time to trust. Bonnie would do best in a home with another playful dog that could take the lead and show her the ways of the home. She freezes on leash, and will not potty on leash, so she will need a home with a fenced in yard. Mostly she need love and lots of snuggles. Bonnie loves to curl up on the bed and take naps. If you are interested in learning more about Bonnie send us a message or To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic Adoption fee $200 Bonnie is Spayed, up to date on vaccines, micro chipped and heart worm negative. ##1267447##
