Hi! My Name is Munster but sometimes my foster family calls my Scobby-Doo because I love to solve a good mystery and explore! Who ate my Bone!! Probably my foster brothers, who I get along with well! I do like to wrestle but I have a foster sister she doesn’t like to get dirty so I try to show her I’m a cool guy! I never met a cat but I heard about those guys! I do love my name and remember it well so anytime you call me I will come running! I’m a good listener! Hint hint… maybe I could be an emotional support dog for the right human. I loveeeeee my humans! Big or small!!! I like to give kisses and wow those kids are fun to run with! A good butt rub and I am melting like cheese…after all that is my name😌 Looking for the perfect family to hangout with and explore! An active family would be amazing but I’m the kind of guy who can hang around on the porch! I do get burst of energy after all I’m still a puppy! I forgot to mention I am kind of a celebrity around town as I’ve been personally interviewed by the news😏 Currently Holding off the paparazzi and autographs hoping the right family will star in my feature film “My Furever Home!!”

Story
**NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS** We are so excited to introduce BENNETT to our TMM family!! Bennett is a STUNNING 1 year old male Dalmatian. He is house trained, dog friendly with proper introduction, child friendly and cat excitable (meaning, he loves a good chase but does not harm them)! While Bennett is still learning commands and is currently a jumper when meeting people, he is eager to learn, eager to please and very treat motivated. After all, he mastered 'sit' in less than a week! Bennett is 100% a velcro dog! Not only does he want to be with you at all times, but he wants to be on top of you if you're settling down for the night! He is very loving, and will let you pet his velvety soft ears as long as you want to while he falls asleep. Bennett sleeps wonderfully through the entire night in his crate and is beyond excited to see you when he wakes up! He is a wiggly little boy with a big personality who doesn't seem to have any fears. He rides wonderfully in the car and would make an excellent adventure buddy! He even went camping for a weekend with his foster family and did wonderfully! Bennett is a typical young dal who loves attention and playtime! He will need a dedicated owner who is willing to put in the effort to continue his training as he does still have some puppy tendencies like wanting to smell every dog that he passes and occasionally attempting to counter surf just to check out what's there. While not required, Bennett would greatly benefit from a fenced in yard as he loves to run and explore, which is true to the breed. Bennett is up to date on all of his annual vaccinations (including canine influenza and leptospirosis). He will receive a dental cleaning, along with a neuter prior to his adoption and will also be microchipped. We will supply the adopter with all medical records in addition to a full blood panel and urinalysis results. It's important to note that Dalmatians are commonly known for needing to be exercised and mentally stimulated daily! A bored Dalmatian will usually be a destructive and unruly Dalmatian. This breed will also shed twice a year, January through June and July through December (did you catch that?). Dalmatians are big time shedders! We're talking those small hairs that weave in between fabric and never come out. If you prefer a fur free home, this breed is not for you. Dalmatians are also known for being HUA (High Uric Acid) unless specifically bred with LUA (Low Uric Acid) genes. This means that they cannot process purines and will need specialized diets. There is plenty of information online for low purine food options as this condition is similar in dietary restrictions for a human who has gout disease. Low purine options include turkey, chicken and whitefish based foods. Pork, venison and other gamey meat options - along with ALL secreting organs and all variations of yeast - are off the menu. "Standard" dog kibbles which contain secreting organs (liver, kidneys, gizzards, meat byproducts, meat meals, etc) should NOT be fed to this breed if they are HUA. Feeding these dog foods would put our pups at risk for HUU (Hyperuricosuria), bladder crystallization, and/or bladder stones which could even lead to death. We recommend feeding either a low purine raw or balanced fresh food diet, or utilizing dehydrated mixes from The Honest Kitchen (made with human grade low purine ingredients) to ensure they do not have any issues during their lifetime. If you cannot afford to feed these types of dog foods, please do not submit an application. Dalmatians are an expensive breed to properly care for and any future adopter/owner should be prepared for the expenses. We do not know if Bennett is HUA or LUA, however unless a Dalmatian was specifically bred with LUA genes - they are going to be HUA. So to err on the side of caution and be preventative, we will treat him as a HUA Dalmatian until proven otherwise. Interested in adopting Bennett? Story
Hey there, I'm Duke! I've got a heart full of energy and a mind full of smarts. Every day is a new adventure for me. I love to play, and explore. I'm still young, so I've got a lot of growing and learning to do. I'm looking for an experienced owner who can help me channel my energy and intelligence into becoming the best dog I can be. I'd do best in a home with older children who can keep up with my playful nature. Adopting me means you'll have a loyal friend who's always ready for the next adventure. Bart currently weighs about 54.8lbs., is approximately 1 years old (est. birth date 05/07/2024), and his adoption fee is $660. Duke has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Duke, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Madeline has been out dog for her entire six years of life. She lives to please and is very affectionate. She loves her humans and loves to play! She knows sit, stay, come, down, blanket, go lay down, toy, shake, wave, crawl, and roll. Unfortunately she can be a bit timid in new experiences. She has had some bad experiences when she was younger with large dogs and has been a bit stand-offish with them since then. We do not have a small dog but she shows great interest in small dogs. We do have a cat who she is primarily respectful of. She is timid around strangers and they timidness can sometimes result in her baring her teeth (she has never actually bit anyone). We recently had a baby and she is exhibiting some of that around him. That along with us no longer having time to devote for her has led my husband and I to decide that rehoming her may be the best situation for everyone involved.

Story
Marlee is a stunning and spirited Dalmatian mix who also happens to be deaf—but that doesn’t slow her down one bit! This high-energy girl is full of life, joy, and enthusiasm. She’s currently in training to learn sign language commands and is picking them up with her signature zest and determination.Marlee is looking for a dedicated and active family who can keep up with her playful energy and continue her training journey. Because she`s deaf, consistency and patience are key to helping her thrive. She’ll need a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off her zoomies.Marlee has been cat tested and isn’t aggressive, but she does love a good chase—playfully, of course! She’d do best in a home where cats are either dog-savvy or not easily startled. If you’re ready for a loving, energetic companion who will reward your efforts with endless affection and tail wags, Marlee might just be your perfect match!Marlee`s adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (if over 9 months old), and kept up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Marlee, you may fill out an application at www.tlcsh.org or you are welcome to make a Match Making appointment to come out and meet her first. We are open Tuesday – Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
