Story
Lily is a very sweet, loving "Velcro dog" who wants to be right by your side! In the three years I have loved her, she has not shown aggressive behavior toward humans or other animals. She is very friendly, energetic, and full of joy. As a result, she is best suited for a home with other pets who can match and thoroughly enjoy her high-energy, enthusiastic play style. She is trained to go to the bathroom outside, but walking is a work in progress as she dislikes going to the bathroom while on a leash. A home with a large, securely fenced yard is ideal so she can run freely, burn off her energy, and do her business comfortably. She knows and responds to verbal commands like "sit," "no," and "leave it", but she is easily excited and has a high-energy motor. Commands will have to be repeated a few times, but she is highly intelligent and eager to please. She dislikes getting her nails trimmed and will need a patient handler or professional groomer.
