Story
Hi! My name is Ruby. I’m just as beautiful as the famous DeLong Star Ruby. There is a lot of me to love at 70 pounds, but you wouldn’t know it because I’m as gentle as a lamb! Check out my coat. See all those spots? I have some Dalmatian in me as well as some Great Pyrenees. Rubies are said to enhance the ability to give and receive unconditional love. It is known as the stone of the heart. It’s a perfect name for me as I’m so sweet, affectionate, and gentle. The staff and volunteers say I give the best kisses of anyone.I’ve been at TBC for about 6 years now and I’m so very ready to find my forever home. I’m about 8 years old so I’ve outgrown the puppy crazies and have settled into a calm, laid back girl. I do want to be the star of the show- so I prefer to be your only canine family member. I’m housetrained, Heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. Please come meet me. You’ll fall head over heels in love with me, I’m certain! If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Lula and her L siblings - LIvvie, Lexie, LIesl, Lyric and Lutz - came to us as puppies. Can you believe these beauties are still with us? They are approaching their first birthday, and we do not expect them to get much bigger than what they are right now. Lula is a calm girl, though playful of course, crate trained and gets along with all dogs, big and small. She would do great in just about any household. Mom and her eight babies were unceremoniously dumped at a small rural cemetery. How can anyone do this to this sweet family? Mom is super friendly and has taken great care of her babies who are all weaned and healthy children. The babies look like they will be about Mom's size, a very manageable 40-50 lbs, and of course all are cute as buttons. You can find the five girls and three boys as our "L-litter."

Story
Vincent - Our Diamond Dog Ready to Shine in His Forever Home Say hello to Vincent, an approximately 1-year-old Catahoula mix weighing 56 lbs who has officially earned his Diamond Dog status. That means he has been a shelter resident for 90 days or longer - and his adoption fee is now just $75. Vincent has the looks that turn heads and a personality that fills the room. Found near Corporate Crossing in Rockwall on 11/22/25, he was microchipped, but sadly his owner was never located. Since then, he's been patiently waiting for his second chance. Still very much a puppy at heart, Vincent is full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for life. He's smart, playful, and thrives on interaction and activity. With continued training, structure, and positive outlets for his energy, Vincent is going to grow into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. Vincent is looking to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention and fully bond with his people. He would also do best in a home without cats. Think of him as a one-pet household superstar who wants all the love - and all the toys - to himself. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his rabies, DAPPV, and Bordetella vaccinations. After 90+ days of waiting, Vincent is more than ready for his forever family. Vincent as of 02/20/26 is now a Diamond Dog. If you're looking for a fun, energetic, one-and-only companion who will keep life exciting and your heart full, Vincent may be your perfect match. Diamond Dog Adoption Fee: $75 Apply to adopt Vincent here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Let's help this Diamond Dog finally find the home he deserves.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Meet Ripley! Ripley is an approximately 7 year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer mix who is now looking for a loving forever home. She was found running loose on Anna Cade Drive on 3/7/26 and, sadly, no one came forward to reclaim her. Now Ripley is ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish her in her golden years. Ripley is a gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet girl who has quickly won the hearts of the shelter staff. She enjoys meeting new people and happily accepts pets and attention from anyone willing to share a little love. She also walks nicely on a leash, making her a wonderful companion for relaxed strolls and quiet time with her people. Because Ripley is still new to the shelter, we are still learning how she does with other dogs. If you currently have a dog at home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure everyone gets along well. Ripley's adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination, and boosters are to date. She did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, her treatment is sponsored. If you have any questions or concerns about Ripley's heartworm status, please feel free to ask RAC staff. If you're ready to give this sweet girl the loving home she deserves, please submit an adoption application here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Ripley may have a little silver on her muzzle, but her heart is full of love and ready for her next chapter.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com.
