Hi! My name is Ruby. I’m just as beautiful as the famous DeLong Star Ruby. There is a lot of me to love at 70 pounds, but you wouldn’t know it because I’m as gentle as a lamb! Check out my coat. See all those spots? I have some Dalmatian in me as well as some Great Pyrenees. Rubies are said to enhance the ability to give and receive unconditional love. It is known as the stone of the heart. It’s a perfect name for me as I’m so sweet, affectionate, and gentle. The staff and volunteers say I give the best kisses of anyone.I’ve been at TBC for about 6 years now and I’m so very ready to find my forever home. I’m about 8 years old so I’ve outgrown the puppy crazies and have settled into a calm, laid back girl. I do want to be the star of the show- so I prefer to be your only canine family member. I’m housetrained, Heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped.Please come meet me. He is approaching his first birthday, and we so hope he can celebrate it in a furever home! Lutz is a solidly built guy, is good on leash, and gets along great with other dogs. He loves attention and being scratched behind his ears, but can also entertain himself. He loves toys, especially those he ca chew on for a while. Liesl is one of eight siblings, our L-litter, who were unceremoniously dumped at a rural cemetery along with their Mom. Who can do this to a sweet family like this one? Mom looks like she is part Dalmatian, but we really are just guessing. Liesl has the most beautiful brown markings and is just a sweet playful youngster who has been at rescue for way too long. Mom and her eight babies were unceremoniously dumped at a small rural cemetery. How can anyone do this to this sweet family? Mom is super friendly and has taken great care of her babies who are all weaned and healthy children. The babies look like they will be about Mom's size, a very manageable 40-50 lbs, and of course all are cute as buttons. You can find the five girls and three boys as our "L-litter."

Heshey is a gorgeous chocolate and tan girl. She was a great Mom to her nine babies who came to us with her, and is now ready to be in a furever home where she will be loved and pampered a little. Hershey is friendly and outgoing, both with people and dogs and will be a wonderful companion. She walks wonderfully on a leash, never pulls, and takes cues from the hooman walking her. Hi! I'm Shenzi! I am a 1-year-old, female, Pointer mix weighing 51 Lbs (as of 04/23/25). She was found at Donut Palace on 04/19/2025 and never reclaimed. So now I am looking for a new family to love. I am shy due to the shelter environment and that fact that I do not understand why my family never came for me. Even though I was never reclaimed, I have not let that change my sweet and loving nature. I would love to join a family pack that has time to love and adore me as well as one that has patience while I acclimate to a new home and family. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, and current on my rabies vaccination and basic boosters. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to start treatment at little to no cost to my new family. If you have any questions about heartworm disease or my course of treatment, RAC staff is happy to answer any questions.
