Meet Lincoln! Lincoln is a one year old Dalmatian with a heart as unique as his spots. This medium-sized boy is the perfect mix of spunky and sweet, always ready to play but just as eager to snuggle up once he knows you’re a friend. Lincoln is dog friendly, fully house trained, and has all his vetting complete. He’s neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and up to date on all preventatives. While he can be a bit shy when meeting new people, he warms up quickly and truly blossoms with a little patience and kindness. This playful pup thrives in a home where he can get both mental and physical enrichment, and we’re ideally looking for an adopter with Dalmatian or similar breed experience to help him be the best boy he can be. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will keep you on your toes and shower you with love, Lincoln might just be your perfect match! ##2422868##

Story
Meet Skyler! This beautiful 3-year-old, 55 lb dog is looking for a new home where she can be the star. Skyler’s owners are rehoming her as she's recently started playing a little too rough with the cat and smaller dogs. She would do best as the only pet or with a dog her size or larger. Skyler is playful, sweet, and would make a wonderful companion for someone ready for her energetic and loving personality. She’s up to date on shots, spayed, and housetrained. If you’re interested in giving Skyler a forever home, please fill out an application. codysfriendsrescue.org  Foster or adopt. Story
Hi my name is Maverick Im almost 18 months old, I was given to my current mom by a family member when I was about 3 months old. I know how to sit, wait for my food to be placed down before I eat, I know the words wait. I am potty trained. My current mom thinks Im not being given the attention I need as I am very energetic. She believes because I am half Australian Shepherd that I need to be on a ranch doing tasks keeping my mind busy. I’m also very fast I mean fast! I do like to hunt even though I was not taught to I do like to bring mom “gifts” from time to time. (So I would make a great hunting dog) I do like to get wet but I don’t like to take baths. I’m very sweet but I do like my space.

Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

I spent my days helping others, from rescuing cats stuck in trees to guiding lost puppies home. But, even superheroes need a break. So, I ended up here, at this shelter. I'm still Super Chevy, though. I've got the heart of a hero, full of love and kindness. I'm playful and sweet, always ready for a game of fetch or a cuddle session. Now, I'm looking for a sidekick. Someone who's ready to share in my adventures, to be my forever friend. Could that be you? Adopt me, and let's write our own superhero story together.May 18, 2025, 9:00 pm
