Story
Princess is my babygirl whom is 8-9 years old, she is a senior but still acts like a puppy & is very active & clingy (she loves attention). She follows me everywhere & is well behaved. She just needs help with walks, as she does pull alot out of excitement. She knows a couple tricks, and loves to give you her paw so you can kiss it. A sweetheart, but also a scaredy-cat which causes her to be highly misunderstood because she will get hostile around new people & other dogs. It takes a while for her to warm up to anyone other than who raised her. She only likes my boy dog Casper because they grew up together. I move into a shelter soon, and cant take her with me. But would love to still visit her if possible. Shes the sweetest puppy Ive ever known. very caring, and protective. It would take the right person to be patient with a babe like her. Please give her a chance, you wont regret adopting Princess. She needs a loving/patient and attentive partner who wont give up on her.

Story
Pepper's story is heartbreaking: Pepper’s mom passed away, and her caregiver adopted him. Now his new dad is battling congestive heart failure, and Pepper was scheduled to be euthanized. This sweet boy deserves so much more. Pepper is house trained, great with kids, and good with other dogs. He’s also a wonderful housemate—he sits quietly at your feet, waits his turn for attention, and abides by the house rules. Loyal to the core, he’ll be your constant companion through thick and thin. Pepper has a playful side too. He LOVES ball games—whether it’s chasing a tennis ball outside or doing victory laps around the living room with his toy, he’ll keep you smiling. He does prefer to play ball one-on-one - he's competitive for your attention that way. He’s very treat motivated and soaks up affection—pets on his face, head, and chest, and bonus butt scratches (he’ll even back up to ask for them!). Pepper isn’t just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, an entertainer, and a best friend rolled into one. He’s ready to bring love, laughter, and devotion to the forever family he deserves.

Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
I love Carmella so much but I have never had a pet before and I truly think I bit off more than I can chew. She was given to me as a gift at 4 weeks and she has been my precious baby ever since. However I am a school teacher who is single and it seems as if I’m always at work and leave her home for all those hours really breaks my heart and she has so much energy by the time I get home I am pooped. I walk her but I feel like it’s not enough love for a growing baby. Please help her find a home shes a baby 5 months. Also if the fee is an issue please lmk we can make something happen Also I will give her crate and all the things to you that are needed she’s amazing this is very emotional for me so please help me.
