Hi, I`m Prince! I love to play and have fun all day. I`m super friendly and get along great with other dogs. I`m also really smart and funny, so we`ll have the best time learning tricks and playing games together. If you`re looking for a goofy, playful, and energetic companion, I`m your pup! Adopting me means endless love and laughter, and I promise to be your loyal friend forever.I also qualify for the 7-day Foster to Adopt Trial! This program will give you AND ME the opportunity to make sure it is the perfect fit before adopting! If you`re interested, stop by the shelter during their business hours! The shelter is located at 4140 Valley View Ln and are open most Tuesdays through Fridays from 1-6pm and Saturdays from noon-5pm! If you have any other questions, give the shelter a call at 972-721-2256 or email them at AdoptAPet@irvingtx.gov

Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Meet Cora!Cora is a 6-year-old sweetheart with the perfect balance of independence and affection. She’s incredibly smart and already knows several commands like sit, stay, come, and crate. She’s eager to please and enjoys having a routine.Cora is equally happy lounging quietly on the floor near her people or relaxing on the couch by your side. but is also totally fine hanging out by herself when needed and would be fine staying home alone while her humans go to work. She is not destructive and settles easily. At night, she sleeps peacefully in her crate in a separate room without a fuss. She is 100% potty trained and hasn’t had a single accident indoors.Cora adores giving kisses, basking in the sun, and playing with plush or squeaky toys. One of her cutest habits is tossing her toy into the air and rolling onto her back with joy.She may bark at new people initially, but with a treat or two, she warms up quickly and shows her loving nature.Cora will thrive best as the only pet in the home.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
