Story
Chippy is a 4.5-year-old, 75-pound purebred Dalmatian. He is good with dogs and is up to date medically. He needs an experienced adopter.

Chippyâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Story
We bought Chippy 4 years ago when he was a 2-month old puppy. We hope that someone with dog behavioral training experience and patience will adopt him. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a loving, active dog that adores playing, cuddling and running.

We need to find him a new home because we do not have the spare time to give him the exercise and play that he really deserves. He has bitten one family member of ours when provoked with roughhousing (he has never bitten the rest of us because we do not roughhouse with him). He is also aggressive with his food and seems to have that as an unshakeable personality trait that we could never break even with consistent training which we started when he was a puppy. His shots are up to date, he is parasite-free and we have always provided him with top-notch vet care.

Hope that you consider adopting Chippy to give him a new home!

Marshall is a fantastic boy!  He is dog, cat and kid friendly! He rides well in the car, walks great on a leash, is crate and potty trained!  He'll enjoy a long walk or a snuggle sesh on the couch and rarely complains! The one thing hindering this amazing boy from finding a family, is that he is absolutely terrified of thunder and fireworks. He needs a home with sympathetic and understanding humans that will love him and reassure him in these times of doubt.  He will repay you for your kindness with endless love and kisses.   Marshall is about 50lbsHe is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and current on prevention. Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Hi there, I'm Ranger! I've been on a wild ride, let me tell you. I've been to the shelter 4 times already! Can you believe it? Each time it's been a case of 'Oh Ranger, we love you but...'. The first time it was 'Oh Ranger, we love you but...our allergies'. The second time it was 'Oh Ranger, we love you but...you're too energetic'. The third time it was 'Oh Ranger, we love you but...we don't have enough time'. I'm like a boomerang, always coming back! But hey, everyone loves a fun-loving goofball, right? So, why not take a chance on a lively, friendly, playful chap like me? I get along great with other dogs, so if you have a furry friend already, we'll be best pals in no time! I promise to keep you entertained with my antics and give you all the love in the world!
