Story
Luna is a 5 year old Dalmatian/Lab mix She weighs about 50 pounds and is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. She has grown up with kids and is gentle with all ages and loves to give kisses. She loves squeaky toys and snuggles and playing in the backyard to keep an eye on the squirrels! She is highly trainable and super eager to please. Luna was born deaf but was taught hand commands from age 5 months. She responds well to visual cues and is eager to learn more. Deaf dogs are just like regular dogs, you simply communicate with them a little differently! If Luna sounds like the perfect addition to your family but you are worried about her being deaf don't be! We will include sessions with our trainer for any interested family to help make the transition super easy! Luna either needs to be an only dog (as being deaf other dogs can startle her) or potentially with a calm male dog. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Marshall is a fantastic boy!  He is dog, cat and kid friendly! He rides well in the car, walks great on a leash, is crate and potty trained!  He'll enjoy a long walk or a snuggle sesh on the couch and rarely complains! The one thing hindering this amazing boy from finding a family, is that he is absolutely terrified of thunder and fireworks. He needs a home with sympathetic and understanding humans that will love him and reassure him in these times of doubt.  He will repay you for your kindness with endless love and kisses.   Marshall is about 50lbsHe is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and current on prevention. Please reach out if you have any questions or are interested in giving this boy a family!  Please be sure to include your phone number with your inquiries and check your spam folder for a reply. ##1178228##

Story
Making the decision to rehome Pickle has been incredibly difficult, but we know he deserves a home where he can truly thrive. Our multi-dog household isn't the right fit for him, and he would do best as the only dog.Pickle is a 4-year-old Dalmador (Dalmatian/Lab mix) who is affectionate, loyal, and loves nothing more than playing fetch and cuddling with his people. When he's overly excited or knows he's in trouble, he does the "dalmation smile". He's great with toddlers and older kids, but he's uncomfortable around babies. He does not do well with male dogs. He has done okay with small female dogs, but we'd strongly prefer he be the only dog in the home so he can be successful. He is picky about his friends. A fenced yard is a must, and we're looking for someone who will give him the love, attention, and active lifestyle he deserves. This decision comes from love, and we're committed to finding him the perfect forever home. ❤️

Story
Meet Bandito, a fun-loving and friendly boy looking for his forever home. Bandito is white with striking black markings, including black circles around both eyes and ears that form his signature "mask." He also has a white blaze and muzzle, along with adorable black freckles on his legs and belly. Born in June 2022, Bandito is neutered and weighs approximately 60 pounds. He is a happy soul who thrives on attention, treats, and belly rubs. He would happily be a lap dog if given the chance. He enjoys playing with toys, is currently learning how to fetch, and occasionally "sings" like an opera singer when he gets super excited. Watch out, Bandito will steal your heart with his loving eyes, then he will bring lots of love and fun to your home. For an adoption application and more information about Bandito, visit his webpage at https://halah.org/adoptables/bandito-2/ Bandito is only available to meet at the HALAH grounds after an Adoption Application has been submitted. We are looking to rehome our dog, Maverick 💔Maverick is 5 years old, neutered, and full of personality—he's a gps mix, he’s goofy, loyal, and loves his person deeply. He loves people (adults and has done well with older children). He thrives in a attentive, one-on-one environment. He loves to sleep on the couch and chase his tail. He needs someone that can keep up with his active lifestyle. He's kennel trained, leash trained and house broken. He would do best as the only pet and with an experienced owner. He can be protective and may resource guard, so we are not comfortable placing him in a home with children. Our family has grown with a child in the last year. Story
Looking to find the right, loving home for my Female, 16-month-old, purebred Catahoula Leopard Dog named Lou. She is blue leopard with tan trim.Over the past few months (5 months) she and my older Catahoula have developed ongoing conflicts and can no longer safely live together. With a newborn arriving soon, we have made the difficult decision that rehoming her is the best and fairest option for both dogs. She is young, active, and will thrive with an owner or family committed to daily exercise, walks, playtime, and continued training with her. She needs an experienced owner who can work on her training more.• Spayed and microchipped• Potty trained and crate trained• Knows sit, shake, and waits for her food until given the “okay” command• Loves people and cuddling• Smart, athletic, eager to learn, HIGH energy• Can be anxious, HATES baths• Has not been exposed to children; due to her energy level + tendency to jump when excited, would not recommend a home with small children.
