FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED ❤️ New foster home needed starting June 5th! Bronson has been doing amazing in his current foster home for the month of May, but due to personal travel and plans, we will need to find him a new foster home by June 5th. He has made massive strides in foster care and will need to be transferred to another home, as coming back to a kennel environment would cause major regression. Bronson is a ~1 year old, 35lb, Dalmatian mix. He came to us as a stray from California. We do not know his history, but when he came to us he was completely shut down, terrified of people and underweight. He will require a very specific foster or forever home that is quiet, calm, and can provide the environment he needs to decompress, gain confidence and trust, and come out of his shell. He has already made great improvements in his current foster home, and is opening up and trusting slowly. Bronson spent all of his time in a crate when he first came to us, outside of bathroom breaks, as he was absolutely terrified to leave that ‘safe space’. In his foster home, he has a room all to himself where the crate door is left open, and he will now venture out and explore the room and house, following his foster parents around cautiously but curiously, with his favorite spot being cuddled up on the couch. He is curious, and interested in people, he just needs time. He does take treats from your hand and is starting to relax and enjoy being pet. Bronson is house-trained, and crate-trained. He hit a major milestone recently, going on his first short walk outside, and now enjoys daily walks going further each time! In the kennel environment he would not walk on leash, and would look for any exit or place to hide. He has also started to play with toys by himself and is learning how to be a puppy when he feels safe and secure. While in our care, we have had Bronson with many dogs and he has largely been disinterested because he was so scared. He does live with a senior Pug in his foster home and has done well. He would likely benefit from a calm, confident older dog in the home to help him feel comfortable and show him how to dog. But would not do well at this time with a hyper or pushy dog. We have see great improvements in Bronson during his short time in foster care, and are confident that with a continued environment that is calm, loving, and willing to let him progress at his pace, he will thrive. He is a very sweet boy and will make an amazing dog for the right home! He has shown that in his foster home he does want to be around people once he can trust them, and he will likely bond deeply to his forever family. Bronson would do fine in a free standing home or apartment, but will need a quieter neighborhood. He would not do well living in a busy city environment. No kids due to his fearful and skittishness. If you are able to provide Bronson with a foster or forever home, apply on our website. Bronson is neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Calliope is one of our long-timers, and has been waiting for a foster or her forever home with us for 3 years! She is an energetic and playful girl and will make her forever family very happy! Calliope is a Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix, she weighs around 60 lbs and is ~4 years old. Calliope is active, and she will need a family that can keep her properly exercised. She loves the outdoors, and would make a great hiking or running partner! She would love her very own fenced yard to run and play with her family. Calliope is very sweet and can get over excited, especially in a kennel environment, she will thrive in a home that can provide continued support of basic obedience and working on not jumping when excited. Because she is large and jumpy, we are recommending no small children as she could accidently knock them over. Calliope has been doing great on walks with other dog friends in our care. She is not tested with cats. Calliope is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Bella! Bella is a 3-year-old, 55 lb Aussie/Catahoula/Retriever mix who came to us after her owner could no longer care for her. This beautiful girl is full of life, love, and adventurous spirit! Bella is super sweet, playful, social, and always ready for fun. She loves people, does great with other dogs, and has the kind of happy personality that makes her a joy to be around. She’s affectionate, outgoing, and eager to be included in whatever her humans are doing. She’s also an active, athletic girl who is looking for a home that can keep up with her energy and adventurous nature. Bella would absolutely thrive in an outdoorsy home that enjoys hiking, running, exploring, road trips, and all kinds of adventures. She’s ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick and favorite trail buddy. Bella is strong, energetic, and loves staying active, so she’ll do best with adopters who are excited to give her plenty of exercise, engagement, and continued structure. She is house-trained and enjoys being part of the daily routine with her people. Whether she’s out exploring the world or relaxing after a day of adventure, Bella is happiest when she’s included in the fun. If you’re looking for a fun, active, loving companion to join you on all of life’s adventures, Bella might just be your perfect match! Bella is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.
