Story
Meet Dorito! This 5-year-old, 28-pound mixed breed may have had a rough start, but he’s making incredible progress thanks to his dedicated foster. Found as a terrified stray, Dorito has been slowly learning to trust and is blossoming into a sweet, playful companion. He loves using the doggy door to take his toys outside, where he entertains himself by tossing them around. He enjoys being brushed, is now taking treats from his foster’s hand, and is gradually getting used to a leash. Dorito is quiet and calm in the home and seems to be house-trained.This special boy would thrive in a patient, loving home with another dog to help boost his confidence. If you have a gentle heart and a soft spot for a pup who just needs a little extra love, Dorito could be the perfect fit for you!

Story
Meet Bexley! You can see more about her rescue journey on our Instagram: @expedition.ola Bexley is one of those street dogs who showed right away that she was meant for a family. While some dogs thrive in their independent, free-roaming lifestyle, Bexley craved human connection from the moment we met her. She was shy at first, but one gentle pet and she completely lit up, all love, loyalty, and pure gratitude. Today she’s the joyful, goofy little ray of sunshine she was always meant to be. If we had to describe her in a few words, she would be a gentle lover. She is calm, caring, and happiest when she’s close to her people. She has a graceful strength, a smile that makes your heart smile, and she always chooses love. Bexley warms up to new humans instantly and will happily snuggle into any friendly lap. She’s more of a “people dog” than a “dog's dog,” but she can live with a calm, easygoing canine sibling. With unfamiliar dogs, she can be a little unsure, but with positive experience, her confidence continues to grow. Despite her athletic build, she’s surprisingly low-key! She enjoys adventures but is just as content lounging in a camp chair. As she gains confidence and continues healing, we expect her playful side to come out even more. At home, she is an absolute dream: no accidents, no chewing, easy when left alone, light shedding, and a beautifully relaxed energy. She’s also the best shotgun rider, totally chill in the car, and her early carsickness seems to have passed. At about 43 pounds (still gaining to reach a healthy weight), she’s the perfect size to take anywhere or to curl up beside you at home. Bexley is so ready to be someone’s whole world. We cannot wait to meet the incredible family who will love her just as deeply as she loves everyone she meets. If she sounds like your perfect match, we’d love for you to apply💕

Story
Cooper is a 4-year-old Kelpie mix with a gentle, thoughtful spirit who just needed time to feel safe. When he first arrived in his foster home, it was clear he hadn’t had much (if any) socialization with people or everyday life inside a home. Regular household sounds, movement, even the TV were overwhelming. His crate became his safe place, and he would choose to go there often just to feel secure. With patience and consistency, Cooper has slowly blossomed. Now he spends most of his day resting calmly on the couch or laying in the kitchen while meals are being made. He used to be nervous in the car, but now he gets excited to go for rides. He didn’t understand treats at first, but now he joyfully pops up on his hind legs to ask for one. Cooper does very well with dogs of all sizes and is respectful of cats. He is crate trained and doing well with potty training—he hasn’t had an accident in the house in about a week. Though he is around 4 years old, he still has a bit of youthful playfulness in him. He loves belly rubs, gentle massages, chewing on toys, and watching the world go by from the cat perch. On walks, he is calm, rarely pulls, and often looks back to “check in” with his person—he truly wants to do things right. Because unpredictable movement can still make him nervous, Cooper would do best in a calm home without young children. He needs someone who can offer patience, steadiness, and understanding. Cooper has already come so far. With a loving, reassuring person by his side, he will continue to open up and become the loyal, tender, devoted companion he is meant to be. Story
Meet Clint Barton! Clint Barton is an extraordinary dog with a heart full of love and loyalty. This remarkable boy is crate trained and potty trained, making him a seamless addition to your home. Though Clint is deaf, it doesnt hold him back from being an incredible companion. Hes adapted beautifully to his unique perspective on the world and responds well to visual cues and hand signals. With resilience and a willingness to learn, Clint is mastering basic obedience and leash walking and is eager to expand his skillsespecially with hand commands. Weve also introduced a vibration collar to help get his attention from a distance, allowing him to safely run and play while staying connected. Clint can be a little shy when meeting new people, sometimes even trembling with uncertainty, but he warms up quickly with patience, walks, and plenty of treats. He thrives on clear communication and structure, which help build his confidence and make him feel secure. Clint is available for foster-to-adopt, offering a wonderful opportunity to see how well he fits into your world before committing to adoption. Deaf dogs may require some adjustments in training, but the rewards of sharing your life with this resilient and loving companion far outweigh the challenges. As with all our dogs, we provide ongoing support and training to ensure you and Clint start off and stay on the right path to happiness. If youre ready to open your heart and home to an extraordinary dog, Clint Barton is waiting to meet you! Clint Barton is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00.
