Story
Meet Nala, a beautiful 2-year-old Doberman Malinois mix looking for her forever home. Nala is a high-energy dog who thrives on activity, making her an ideal companion for active individuals who enjoy daily walks and runs. She is a very intelligent dog who responds well to structure. Please note that Nala is protective and prefers to be the only dog in the household, as she does not interact well with other canines. She is an indoor pet who is fully house-trained, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She has also undergone health testing. We are looking for a dedicated owner who can provide the exercise and training she needs. Collection is available in Oakland or Santa Cruz, and delivery options can be discussed. Story
Brandon is a total sweetheart! He is very aware of his size (88 lbs) and is careful to be gentle around children. Brandon is a very curious boy and would do well with someone who can help him come out of his shell. It takes him some time to warm up to other dogs in the home, but once he does he invites them to play with curiosity and love. He is house-trained, and he’s happy to chill at home with some toys until you get back from work. Brandon enjoys going on multiple daily walks, where he loves to spend time exploring the world around him. He’s making great progress with his leash manners; it helps that he loves being distracted by attention and cuddles. Brandon’s favorite hobby is asking for treats, and you’ll often find him eyeing your food when you’re snacking. He also loves snuggling up on the couch after a long day. If there was a gold medal for couch snuggles, it would be his! (CY)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Cosmos is an approximately 50 lb teenaged Doberman/American Bulldog mix (according to a DNA test). Cosmos is playful and energetic and needs a lot of exercise to be happy! He LOVES to play with other dogs, so a home with a playful dog friend would be an added bonus! Cosmos is fully house trained and does well with new people in a neutral setting. He walks well on leash and has been doing great with crate training. Cosmos, true to his breed mix, is fiercely loyal and can be protective of his space and his people. He can be overwhelmed if there is a lot of activity and may do best in a quiet neighborhood. Because he can be rough and rambunctious in his play, and because he can be protective of his space, Cosmos would do best in a home with adults or kids 12+ only. Live in a more quiet area? Have a resident dog? Cosmos would love to meet you!

Story
Meet Poe! This handsome Doberman (?) mix is a confident, affectionate, and goofy boy who loves being close to his people. With his striking eyes—one blue and one brown—Poe is impossible to overlook. He’s social and outgoing, enjoys meeting new people, and gets along well with other dogs. Poe is an active boy who needs plenty of daily exercise and would thrive with a family ready to give him around two hours of activity each day. He loves playing fetch, tug, and with tennis balls and squeaky toys, and enjoys enrichment activities like frozen Kongs and lick mats. He has good leash manners but can pull when something catches his attention, and he’s continuing to work on walking calmly. Poe is crate-trained, a quick learner, and has shown no signs of separation anxiety. He has a high prey drive, so he would do best in a home without cats. Most of all, Poe loves belly rubs, water, playtime, and being with his people. At 75 pounds, he’s a big, goofy boy with an equally big heart who is ready for an active family to call his own. (AO)

Story
Curtis is a gorgeous ~90 lb Doberman. Typical for his breed, Curtis is very intelligent and very loyal. Curtis forms deep bonds with his chosen people. He is an energetic young dog and loves playing with toys. Curtis would do best with another dog in the home or plenty of opportunities to socialize with other dogs. Curtis is house-trained and generally does well on leash; however, he can become overstimulated in busy environments and would do best in a quiet setting away from high traffic areas. Curtis would love a home with someone who has experience with Dobermans or similar breeds, or has done their research. If you're interested, please fill out an application!

Story
Penelope is a sweet, young puppy with a big heart and so much potential. She thrives in a calm, structured environment where clear boundaries and consistency help her feel safe and confident. With the right guidance, she continues to grow into a well-mannered and loyal companion. Penelope already knows several basic commands, including sit, down, come, and stay, and she’s eager to keep learning. She truly enjoys being close to her person and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. Penelope does well with other dogs when given a slow, thoughtful introduction, allowing her time to build comfort and confidence. Because of her need for structure and continued development, she would do best in an adult-only home without children. As a young pup, Penelope has energy to burn and will benefit from regular exercise, enrichment, and ongoing training. Continued socialization will be important to help her navigate new environments and experiences with ease.
