Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!! Hi! My name is Twiggy, but my foster mom also calls me Love, Lovie, Baby, Sweetie, Couch Potato and sometimes “Big Old Lug” when I’m taking up her side of the bed at night (how rude!). My likes? I love zoomies in the backyard, snoozing in chairs and car rides. Oh, I also love dogs and people, and snuggling … lots and lots of snuggling. My dislikes? I really don’t like loud trucks, not really fond of lots of traffic, and I don’t like anyone stealing my toys. I’m a 6-year-old Doberman Pincher mix. I’m a fun-loving, big, curvy girl (how dare you ask my weight, but I’m about 70 lbs.!). I’m looking for a long-term relationship. I’ve done the short-term foster thing and, no knock on it, but I really am just looking for a genuine connection with someone who thinks it’s OK for me to snore in their ear at night. I’ve been through board-and-train, so I’m an educated gal. Must haves for my new relationship: a yard with a fence so I can run around and chase squirrels and bunnies; patience with me on a leash (I listen, but have a short attention span); no young kids. It’s not that I don’t like them or can’t be around them. I can! But they’re small and sometimes get in my way. Plus, I don’t really understand personal space, so I don’t want to hurt them. Oh, and not to brag or anything, but I’ve been told I’m a very good kisser. If you want to meet up, contact 2BABR and they will put you in touch with my current foster. We can get together and see what happens. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##901874##

Story
**🐾 Meet Bruiser – Your Future Best Friend! 🐾** Hello there! My name is Bruiser, and I’m looking for my special forever family. Will you be the one to bring happiness into my life? I didn’t have the best start in Roswell, New Mexico. I spent a lot of time in an outdoor kennel, without a cozy bed or the love of a family. Human interaction was rare, and life felt very lonely. But now, I’m in beautiful Colorado, and while I’m loving it here, I’m hoping to find a family who understands me – a deaf dog who’s been through a lot. I have a little secret to share: sometimes, I act like a grumpy old man. But I promise there’s a good reason for that! You see, my hearing is very limited, so when I get startled and don’t know someone’s there, I might growl. I don’t mean to be scary – I’m just trying to protect myself. Despite my tough past, I adore being loved and petted, especially when someone rubs behind my ears. I dream of a family who will be patient and understanding, one that will take the time to help me feel secure and cherished. 🌟 **Here’s what makes me special:** - I absolutely LOVE going for walks! The fresh air, the exciting smells – it makes me feel like a young pup again. When my foster dad grabs my leash, I can barely contain my excitement. - I’m a big fan of toys and, oh, do I love food! Treats are my favorite, and I’ve even learned to sit politely for them. - I know how to use a doggie door and am eager to learn more – I’m a smart boy who just needs a little guidance. Look into my eyes, and you’ll see a soul longing for love and companionship. I believe the right family can help me blossom into the happiest dog ever. Could that be you? If you’d like to meet me, please fill out an application at the From Forgotten to Forever website:https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/adoptionapplication/ Let’s start our forever journey together. ❤️ #AdoptBruiser #FromForgottenToForever #RescueDog #DeafDogsRock

Story
Cross-Post for SOAR Rescue Available in Denver! Penny is the most precious 5 month old Doberman girl you'll ever meet. We think she will be on the smaller side around 45-50 pounds full grown. She is a tough girl with the best attitude around. She was born with cerebellar hypoplasia. Her breeders turned her over when they realized they wouldnt be able to sell her. Often referred to as swimming puppy syndrome. It doesn't get her down though! She does very well getting around. She requires soft surfaces and support. She does great in the grass and goes potty outside. We have yoga mats on the hard surfaces and she does really well getting around on them. We've been doing targeted therapy and you can really tell the difference. She can go for walks in her wheel chair and does great getting from point a to point b! She LOVES other dogs, cats, and kids. She is as gentle as they come and her tail never stops wagging. Most of these kiddos do get more coordinated with time but she will not be going on walks without the wheel chair. It will take patience and the right person. She knows her special person or people are out there for her! She is crate trained and potty trained with consistency. She loves to crawl up in your lap and loves cuddles. She is quick to make friends and loves going on adventures with you. You will need to be prepared to help carry her into the car and on stairs. Please reach out to us with any questions you have about Penny! ##2771482##
