Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!! Hi! My name is Twiggy, but my foster mom also calls me Love, Lovie, Baby, Sweetie, Couch Potato and sometimes “Big Old Lug” when I’m taking up her side of the bed at night (how rude!). My likes? I love zoomies in the backyard, snoozing in chairs and car rides. Oh, I also love dogs and people, and snuggling … lots and lots of snuggling. My dislikes? I really don’t like loud trucks, not really fond of lots of traffic, and I don’t like anyone stealing my toys. I’m a 3-year-old Doberman Pincher mix. I’m a fun-loving, big, curvy girl (how dare you ask my weight, but I’m about 70 lbs.!). I’m looking for a long-term relationship. I’ve done the short-term foster thing and, no knock on it, but I really am just looking for a genuine connection with someone who thinks it’s OK for me to snore in their ear at night. I’ve been through board-and-train, so I’m an educated gal. Must haves for my new relationship: a yard with a fence so I can run around and chase squirrels and bunnies; patience with me on a leash (I listen, but have a short attention span); no young kids. It’s not that I don’t like them or can’t be around them. I can! But they’re small and sometimes get in my way. Plus, I don’t really understand personal space, so I don’t want to hurt them. Oh, and not to brag or anything, but I’ve been told I’m a very good kisser. If you want to meet up, contact 2BABR and they will put you in touch with my current foster. We can get together and see what happens. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##901874##

Story
This sweet boy, Coco, is about seven years old and we believe is a Doberman/Rottie mix. He’s about 77 pounds and should be closer to 70 at ideal weight. This gentleman is searching for his real forever home to live out his golden years. Coco was saved from a high kill shelter in Houston after being picked up as a stray. He breaks our hearts as he clearly had a home at one point and was not lacking in his meals. Though his owner was never located or came forward, his microchip indicated that he had been neutered and adopted out of that same shelter back in 2018. We aren’t sure what happened over those six years, but it is evident Coco misses his past and family and probably also his real name. He is adjusting to a foster home and is a very nice boy, but we can tell this isn’t how he thought his life would be. His forever family will need to help him focus on looking forward to a bright future and help him see how good his life can be and that there are humans he can count on. Coco has been non-reactive to dogs in his foster home and seems to like kids. He takes his job of keeping wildlife and small animals out of the yard very seriously and will do best in a home without felines. Otherwise he will do well in a variety of home types. His mobility is good and he still gets the ‘zoomies’, though he is middle aged, he has a lot of love and life left to give. We think he would prefer a fairly calm and mostly predictable lifestyle with his adoptive family. Coco is being fostered in Fort Collins, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/coco/. Story
Manny is a 2-3 year old Min Pin mix who is ready for his best life! Manny is a playful, loyal, spunky boy who loves the company of other dogs. He had a rough start in life coming from a home in which he was treated poorly and not cared for but his luck changed when he came into rescue! He is growing his hair back from all the stress and is finally on the mend ready for a committed and loving home. Manny is under 20lbs, long legged, med energy, and great with people. His ideal home has another playful pup, activity. and kindness! He is probably fine with cats and older children preferred. If interested in a small, spunky, and loyal companion, Manny is it! July 17, 2024, 9:57 pm
