Story
Meet Oso Bear, the gentle Doberman pup with a heart as soft as his name is cute. He may be a little shy when you first say hello, but once he warms up, he’ll happily lean in for all the pets you’re willing to give. This sweet boy loves a good squeaky toy, a fun game of fetch, and anyone who treats him with kindness. Oso Bear will thrive in an active home that can keep his mind and body busy while continuing his positive reinforcement training. With patience, play, and love, he’ll blossom into the loyal companion he’s meant to be.

Story
Meet Lady, an 8-year-old Doberman mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. She's a sweet girl who can be timid and anxious in new situations, so she's looking for a patient person who will let her move at her own pace and help her feel safe. Lady would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and enjoy the quiet, predictable life she deserves. If considered for multi-dog household, a meet at the shelter is required prior to adoption. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tri Color Weight: 48.8 Age: 8yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Cross-Post for SOAR Rescue Available in Denver! Penny is the most precious 5 month old Doberman girl you'll ever meet. We think she will be on the smaller side around 45-50 pounds full grown. She is a tough girl with the best attitude around. She was born with cerebellar hypoplasia. Her breeders turned her over when they realized they wouldnt be able to sell her. Often referred to as swimming puppy syndrome. It doesn't get her down though! She does very well getting around. She requires soft surfaces and support. She does great in the grass and goes potty outside. We have yoga mats on the hard surfaces and she does really well getting around on them. We've been doing targeted therapy and you can really tell the difference. She can go for walks in her wheel chair and does great getting from point a to point b! She LOVES other dogs, cats, and kids. She is as gentle as they come and her tail never stops wagging. Most of these kiddos do get more coordinated with time but she will not be going on walks without the wheel chair. It will take patience and the right person. She knows her special person or people are out there for her! She is crate trained and potty trained with consistency. She loves to crawl up in your lap and loves cuddles. She is quick to make friends and loves going on adventures with you. You will need to be prepared to help carry her into the car and on stairs. Please reach out to us with any questions you have about Penny! ##2771482##

Story
Stella (9) and Scarlett (11) are a bonded pair of Doberman girls who recently lost the only family they've ever known when their beloved mom passed away. Even if you aren't familiar with the Dobie breed, these girls are so easy, gentle and sweet they will capture your heart. They do not need to be with someone who has breed experience - they are that good. These girls are truly something special. They are fully house-trained, respectful, easy to live with, and incredibly devoted to their people. They get along beautifully with other dogs, adore humans, and are happiest simply being close to those they love. They currently live with 2 other large dogs - a male and female and everyone is the best of friends! Their ideal day? A leisurely breakfast, a comfy bed, a sunny spot for a nap , and each other. Stella, has a gorgeous red coat and is 106 pounds of loyalty, affection, and Doberman devotion.  Scarlett has a pretty blue/silver coat and is an 81-pound goofball with the gentlest soul you'll ever meet.  (yes, you would think Scarlet would be the red one) House-trained Great with other dogs Friendly, calm, and social Heartworm negative Bonded and deeply devoted to one another Stella has hypothyroidism, but it's easily managed with inexpensive medication—It is only $16 for a 90 day supply at Chewy. The rescue will happily cover that for the right home. And there's more good news: thanks to an amazing sponsor, their adoption fees have been fully paid! We know adopting two senior dogs may not be what most people picture when they start looking for a pet. But for the lucky family who gives these girls a chance, they'll gain two grateful hearts and the kind of companionship that only comes from dogs who know how precious a home truly is. Please help us find Stella and Scarlett the soft landing they deserve.  Through all the confusion and change, they have stayed exactly who they've always been: sweet, gentle, loving companions.
