Story
Gypsum is a sensitive boy. He’s fearful during storms and fireworks. He gets anxious sometimes when triggered, or for no apparent reason. He’s looking for someone familiar with dog anxiety that can help him work through this. I am nomadic, and I think he’d do better with a stable physical environment. Now for the good stuff! He is such a happy and well behaved dog. He’s eager to please and quick to modify behaviors with direction. He has wonderful off-leash recall. He is albino, but has some pigment, making him a sort of champagne blonde color with green eyes. To date, we haven’t seen any issues that are commonly associated with albinism, except he may not have the best vision & he may have Canine Dysfunctional Behavior (CDB). His previous owner may have had him genetically tested and said he has a recessive gene for DCM (which means he does NOT have DCM), but we have taken precautions to use anesthesia that is gentler on the heart since DCM is common in adult Dobermans.

Hi! My name is Sable. I just moved here from Kansas where I was living in a car with my brother. My foster family loves how gentle, sweet, and goofy I am. I’m great with kids. I love to walk and am friendly to other dogs on the sidewalk. I don’t mind cats either. During the day, I like to curl up on the couch, but I sleep comfortably and quietly in my crate.I’d love to meet you! ##2653947##

Story
Hazel is an estimated 2-3 year old 55-60 pound Dobby mix beauty. Despite her youth, she doesn't have young energy- she is very calm, like an old soul. All she wants to do is cuddle- she will find a spot on the couch to cuddle no matter how little room there is.  Hazel likes other dogs and is house, crate and leash trained! Hazel is currently living in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas, awaiting an adopter or open foster home in Colorado to bring her up and into their home! ***Hazel is being posted on behalf of our partner rescue in Texas- the process and adoption will go through them. The adoption fee does not include the transport fee (usually $125-200/dog).*** Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio. ##2652599##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!! Hi! My name is Twiggy, but my foster mom also calls me Love, Lovie, Baby, Sweetie, Couch Potato and sometimes “Big Old Lug” when I’m taking up her side of the bed at night (how rude!). My likes? I love zoomies in the backyard, snoozing in chairs and car rides. Oh, I also love dogs and people, and snuggling … lots and lots of snuggling. My dislikes? I really don’t like loud trucks, not really fond of lots of traffic, and I don’t like anyone stealing my toys. I’m a 6-year-old Doberman Pincher mix. I’m a fun-loving, big, curvy girl (how dare you ask my weight, but I’m about 70 lbs.!). I’m looking for a long-term relationship. I’ve done the short-term foster thing and, no knock on it, but I really am just looking for a genuine connection with someone who thinks it’s OK for me to snore in their ear at night. I’ve been through board-and-train, so I’m an educated gal. Must haves for my new relationship: a yard with a fence so I can run around and chase squirrels and bunnies; patience with me on a leash (I listen, but have a short attention span); no young kids. It’s not that I don’t like them or can’t be around them. I can! But they’re small and sometimes get in my way. Plus, I don’t really understand personal space, so I don’t want to hurt them. Oh, and not to brag or anything, but I’ve been told I’m a very good kisser. If you want to meet up, contact 2BABR and they will put you in touch with my current foster. We can get together and see what happens. Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##901874##
