Story
Meet Zucchini!  If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with the most stunning blue eyes you’ve ever seen, Zucchini might just be your perfect match! Zucchini is a 1-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix weighing about 60 pounds. He’s playful, energetic, and always ready for an adventure, whether that’s a long walk, a game in the yard, or curling up for cuddle time after a fun day. He’s a fast learner who loves treats, making training both rewarding and fun. Zucchini gets along well with other dogs, is great with kids, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s crate trained and is making great progress with house training. While we’re not sure how he does with cats, he’s shown so many wonderful qualities in foster care. Like many rescue dogs, Zucchini is still building confidence. He can be fearful of some men and experiences some separation anxiety, so he’ll thrive with a patient, experienced owner who understands that trust takes time. Once he feels safe, his affectionate, goofy, and loving personality shines through. If you’re willing to give Zucchini the patience and love he deserves, you’ll gain an incredibly loyal companion who will reward you with endless cuddles, happy tail wags, and unconditional love. We know his perfect family is out there, and we can’t wait for them to meet this special boy.  Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375  August 24, 2026, 9:14 pm

Story
***PLEASE NOTE*** This is just a courtesy post: Freyja is NOT with Farfel’s Farm & Rescue. Please do not inquire or apply through Farfel’s — this is a courtesy post to help Freyja’s owner find her a new home. For all inquiries, please contact Sara at sara406368@gmail.com OR (970) 658-0470. Her rehoming fee is $150 through her current owner. Freyja is a gorgeous 6-year-old, 50 lb Ridgeback / Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her ears. She’s incredibly sweet, deeply affectionate, and will gladly trade belly rubs for unconditional love. A world-class cuddler, Freyja loves nothing more than curling up beside you on the couch after a fun day of sniffing and exploring the outdoors. This smart, soulful girl adores people and warms up quickly with a gentle, patient approach. Once she trusts you (which doesn’t take long!), she’s all about love, loyalty, and snuggles. She’s house-trained, healthy, and happiest when she has room to run and a cozy spot to nap beside her human. Freyja’s Perfect Home: Freyja thrives in a calm, consistent environment and would do best as the only dog in the home. She can be nervous around other dogs and needs an experienced, confident owner who can help her continue to thrive using positive reinforcement. She would do well in an adult home or one with older children (12+). She’s done well with cats she’s lived with, though she may show prey drive with unfamiliar ones. Freyja is used to sleeping near her person — either in an open crate or near the bed — and finds comfort in being close to those she trusts. She’s got a big personality and an even bigger heart, and with the right home, she’ll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ever ask for. Why She’s Being Rehomed: This decision comes with a heavy heart. Freyja is deeply loved, and if circumstances hadn’t changed, she would never be leaving her current home. After moving in with a partner and their dogs, the multi-dog environment has proven too stressful for her. She deserves a peaceful, loving forever home where she can be the center of attention. If you’re a kind, experienced dog lover looking for a sweet, sensitive girl to share your life with, Freyja may be your perfect match. She has so much love to give — she just needs the right person to give it to. Please share to help Freyja find her forever home! She’s spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on her vaccinations. Rehoming Fee: $150 (to ensure a committed adopter) Location: Boulder, CO Contact: Sara at sara406368@gmail.com OR (970) 658-0470 Disclaimer: The dog you are interested in is a courtesy post. Farfel's Farm & Rescue often helps dogs outside our organization to find their forever homes, and these are called "courtesy posts.” By courtesy posting pets from owners and other rescues, we offer our website as a resource to help their pet gain extra exposure. The pet’s bio comes directly from the owner or rescue, and we expect them to provide accurate information, to the best of their knowledge. Farfel's Farm & Rescue in most cases has not met or evaluated these dogs, so no information about a courtesy post dog is guaranteed. We cannot accept responsibility for any injury or damages to any person or property caused by any courtesy post animals. Courtesy post pets are the sole responsibility of the owner and the adopter. In addition, Farfel's Farm & Rescue cannot take these pets in if the courtesy post adoption does not work out.

Story
Ridger, a 15-week-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, has a unique personality. He gets along well with my three French bulldogs but seems to be intimidated by one cat that constantly backs him up. This fear makes him quite timid. Despite this, he’s very calm and seems to understand what he’s doing when it comes to the bathroom. However, I believe he has some underlying issues that need to be addressed.Ridger is ready for a loving home where he can thrive. He’s eager to learn and adapt to any situation that benefits his dogs’ well-being. Should be easy to train due to high food motivation. He needs a spacious environment where he can stretch his legs and explore freely. Rehoming fee says $50 but will waive for the right adopter.

Vincent is a 7-year-old Vizsla mix and is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and ready to be the MVP in your life! He is an absolute pleasure to work with and can’t wait to bring all that talent to his new family! Vincent is a confident guy looking for a confident leader to take on the world with. While being a tripod, he lets nothing hold him back from being a normal dog. He loves to go on walks and works with his one back leg like no other! It’s honestly astonishing how resilient this guy is proving to be. He is motivated and active, and he will thrive in a home that provides opportunities for activity, enrichment, and continued skill-building. The sky’s the limit for Vincent! Vincent does well with other dogs with proper introduction and socialization. Meet Bubbles — the sweetest soul you’ll ever encounter!  Bubbles is a 7-year-old female Black Mouth Cur mix who’s full of life, love, and gentle charm.  She’s playful and well-mannered, having completed training that makes her truly the “goodest” girl. Whether she’s running around the yard or quietly lounging indoors, Bubbles brings joy wherever she goes. Perfectly behaved at home: Bubbles lives peacefully with three cats and completely ignores them! She’s also incredibly gentle with the two toddlers in her foster home. Even when the kids are yelling or running around, Bubbles remains calm, sweet, and unfazed. Her temperament is truly exceptional. She is, of course, potty trained and will even go to the bathroom outside with the command of "go potty."    A gracious greeter: When strangers visit, Bubbles greets them by sitting politely and offering her belly for rubs. She never jumps up and always makes guests feel welcome with her quiet charm and loving nature.  Dog-friendly and playful: Bubbles does great with other dogs and loves playing with her doggie friend at her foster home. She’s so thoughtful that she even adapts her play style to match her companion’s energy and preferences!  Crate and place trained: She’s content in her crate and will go in with a simple command. She’s also happy to sleep wherever you designate as her “place,” and she’ll go there and stay on command. Her obedience and adaptability make her a dream companion.  Healthy and ready to go: Bubbles is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She’s ready to find her forever home where she can continue being the loving, loyal, and amazing girl she is.  She will steal your heart: Bubbles isn’t just a good dog, she’s a truly special one.
