Story
03/31/25  Nyla is a spirited and unique Doberman who has conquered many challenges in her life. She can be a bit reserved when meeting new people, especially men, but given time, she warms up and craves affection. Her expressive face has earned her the nickname “Crazy Eyes,” and one of her favorite tricks, “Give me sugar,” means she’s ready for lots of love and praise.   Though she takes time to bond, Nyla has never shown aggression and is both on- and off-leash trained with an e-collar. She responds well to both male and female handlers. She thrives outdoors, whether soaking up the sun or lounging by the pool during BBQs. She’s also a fan of indoor snuggles, often hopping onto furniture to be close to her person.   Daily walks are a favorite activity, and she uses a prong collar to assist with pulling. Nyla is looking for a forever home where she can enjoy the best of both worlds—relaxing with her family and joining them on hikes and nature adventures. Story
3/23/25. Hi, my name is JACK and I really need your help finding my forever home. I'm a handsome 3-4 year old red Doberman gentleman that came from MDAS last June with my companion who was overbred, so not a lot of history is known about me except that I was probably just used for breeding and not socialized well as a pup. I quickly became a volunteer favorite with my sweet and calm gentle demeanor. I love to go in the staff office and play with toys. I walk lovely on a leash and ride nicely in the car. I'm good in my crate for the most part but prefer being out of it and do not destroy anything when left alone in my home for even up to 8 hours. I do have a huge prey drive and cannot be in a home with any small animals or cats. Although I like other female dogs, I would be best as the only dog in the home. I am best suited for a Doberman-savvy owner who understands the breed's quirks and will work with me to be the best that I can be. With the right adopter, I will be the most loving, loyal best friend you could ask for. PLEASE, I know you're out there; I would really like to go to my forever home! PLEASE SHARE me! 2/12/25. 3-year-old Jack is looking for his furever home. This incredibly adorable red boy has a lot of love to give and craves affection. He is a happy boy and very eager to please his adopter. Although he likes other female dogs his size, he is best suited for a home as the only fur kid. He is very good in a home when left out of his crate, even up to 9 hours, and does not destroy anything. He is fully potty trained and crate trained, although not a big fan of his crate. No cats or small animals for Jack. He is a survivor of MDAS, so not a lot is known about his back history, but his sweet and goofy temperament has made him a favorite among the volunteers. Jack can be a bit wary of meeting new people in his home, but with a slow and proper introduction, he is fine. He would do best with a Doberman-savvy owner who will continue to work and train him so that he can reach his full potential. With the right owner, Jack will make a wonderful, loving, and loyal companion. 12/10/24.  Our JACK is hoping to find his furever home for the holidays. This incredibly sweet 3-4 year gorgeous red dober boy from MDAS has never met a human he doesn’t like. He just wants to be petted and by your side once he comes out of his kennel. While he plays nicely with other female dogs at the rescue he is better suited as an only dog in the home. No cats. He’s a calm boy in the house but will need some training so a knowledgeable owner with gentle guidance will allow him to be the very best version of himself. Walks nicely on leash, rides great in car, great at the vets. JACK is a sweetheart and really wants to go home. Let’s help make his holiday wish come true and share him. 9/29/24.  JACK is such a sweet and gentle beautiful red boy. Walks lovely on a leash and is so happy for some attention and love. Needs to be the only dog. Cats and kids unknown so we will not put him in that situation.  PLEASE SHARE to help JACK find his furever home. 7/22/24.  Meet JACK, this absolutely adorable 4 year old red boy is looking for his forever home. He is new to the rescue so we are still getting to know him but he is a sweet boy that waits patiently in his kennel until it's his turn to come out. He likes everyone he meets although can be a bit shy at first. He would be happy as the only dog in the home. Since he came from the shelter we can no history of kids or cats with him so we will not put him in that situation.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
5/19/25. Cash is a 2 1/2 year old White Doberman who is super sweet and lovable and velcro.  He would like to be the only pup in the house. Cash is super friendly with people and a great leash walker and ball fetcher. He can heel and pass any dog in the neighborhood, but he just does not want to share his house with another dog. Cash is well trained. He is very young and would like to find his forever person/family! 1/18/25. Cash is a 2 year old male albino white Doberman that is an absolute sweetheart. His only issue is that he cannot live with another dog. Cash has never shown any aggression towards humans and loves cuddles! He is very well trained. He does great on a leash during walks and is not leash aggressive. He is crate trained. He is house trained. He sits, goes down, and stays on command. He loves to fetch balls, toys, and drops at your feet on command. He has no dietary issues and has a great coat. He is also neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and just had a full exam from the vet. He is on heartworm preventive and flea & tick medicine. Cash rides well in a car, and he goes to work with his foster mom sometimes. He goes to camp/boarding. Breed experience needed.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
5/19/25. BODDY is still patiently waiting for his furever home. This adorable dober boy is such a delight to be with. He is sweet with a gentle demeanor, very even-tempered, and walks well on a leash. He appears calm around other dogs and would probably do well with another mellow female. He is an MDAS survivor, so we do not have any history of him with kids or cats. 3/25/25.  3-year-old Boddy is a sweet, mellow fellow that lays quietly in his kennel until it’s his turn to go out. We haven’t had a chance to dog test him yet as he is new to us, but he seems very chill and non-reactive around other dogs and would probably do well with another calm female. He has a very gentle demeanor and walks nicely on a leash. Since he came from MDAS, his history is a mystery, but we are going to make sure his story moving forward is a wonderful one.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Foster home needed for bonded pair 5/10/25. MILA and DIESEL have a Mother's Day wish - they want to go home! Our confiscation case fur kids have been waiting a long time and would really like a soft place to land. Easier than one, they have each other to keep company. They are sweet seniors. DIESEL is a bit more playful and loves the water; MILA prefers her pets and affection. They prefer the company of humans over other dogs. No cats, and they have not been around young children, so we will not put them in that situation. PLEASE, folks, let's make May their month to go home! 3/3/25  MILA and DIESEL, our confiscation kids, are hoping March is their lucky month to find their forever home. They have been waiting over 8 months and it’s their turn to go home. Mila is super sweet and Diesel loves the water and is playful , together they are double the love and will make great loyal companions . They prefer the company of people over other dogs. PLEASE help Share them so they can finally go home. 11/10/24. MILA and DIESEL, our cruelty cases and bonded pair, are still looking for a foster/foster-to-adopt. They are so sweet and love humans. DIESEL loves to be brushed, and MILA loves her stuffies. They prefer the company of each other over other dogs. PLEASE SHARE this sweet bonded pair who have endured so much and are just looking for kindness, love, and a soft place to land. They are truly easier than one as they have each other. 9/19/24.
