Story
Meet sweet old man Tempo! He is a 10 year old gentle Dobie. He is very affectionate, mellow, easy to walk. He likes to play with toys and hang with his humans, and is fascinated by other dogs. He likely has some sort of neuro condition, as he often turns in circles, but he doesn't let it dampen his spirits... he just wants to live out his golden years with a family who is willing to see past his circling and enjoy him as the positive being that he is. If you are ready to open your heart and your home to this social soul, please ask to meet Tempo Tempo has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out his playgroup video below ##2580665##

Story
Devi is an amazing and loving dog to members of the family. She is protective of her family. She tends to sniff a person and if they react scared then she steps back and growls. She needs some training. Her shots were up to date except for this year. She is athletic and loves being a mom to her puppies, Maple and Opal. Ideally, I would like to rehome them together. Opal is just over 1 yr old and is licensed. Maple is about 8 months old. Devi DOB 1/7/2024, Opal DOB 2/28/2025, Maple DOB 8/8/2025. They are not compliant with my apartment lease terms. I can’t afford the vet care such as shots and training that they need. I also don’t have the space for them in the apartment. I received an eviction notice yesterday. I want them to have a home with caring owners and a yard, and I want all three of them to stay together.

Story
Chipa is a 3 yo M blk/brn doberman foster notes   Chipa would do best with someone experienced in working dogs.  He's high energy  and needs mental & physical stimulation.  Absolutely no cats, kids or small dogs at least at this stage.  He is pretty good with size appropriate female dogs but has a rough play style and does resource guard food and some toys.  He's crate trained, doing better on leash and still learning to pay attention.  He's food motivated, sweet and silly.  Slightly suspicious of strangers and could be destructive left to his own devises.  Seems to like the water so a good candidate for swimming.  I recommend adopters get him into something like scent work, obedience and trick training. or spend time hiking or biking with him ##2574877##

Story
Beautiful NORA is a 5-year-old Doberman mix who has already been failed once... and now she's about to lose her life. She originally entered the shelter as a stray, redeemed by her owner, just to be surrendered for the holidays. Now Nora is sitting in a kennel, confused, terrified, tail tucked, shaking as the barking around her never stops. She is not a bad dog - her former owner said she is good with people she knows, knows basic commands, and is loving and a loyal dog.

Story
Meet Yeager — a Doberman with zero buffering and unlimited energy Tall, athletic, funny, and painfully handsome. The perfect guy… if this were a Tinder profile. But it’s not — and he’s a lot more than that. Yeager is a complex guy, but also obliviously happy. You know that kind of happiness only reserved for those with absolutely nothing going on upstairs? Yeah… that! I mean… look at that gaze. There is NOTHING there. Processing? Minimal. Vibes? Chaotic. To be clear: Yeager is A LOT. Not “a little training needed.” Not “puppy energy.” We’re talking full-time project dog. ✔️ Dog social… selectively (great with females & smaller/meduim males) ✔️ Has done well with cats and older kids ✔️ Extremely happy, confident, and always ready to GO ⚠️ Reality check: • Potty trained… but won’t tell you and will absolutely have accidents • Will mark indoors • Does not understand (or respect) human correction • Learns patterns quickly… then uses that knowledge against you • Will outmaneuver your routine (especially when food is involved) • Rarely settles — especially around other animals (play is his full-time job) • Takes correction from other dogs… then forgets it happened 3 minutes later • Destroys beds, feeders, and anything not built for chaos • Eats fast, then immediately wants to sprint/jump (deep-chested breed awareness REQUIRED) Training status: He’s not untrainable, but he is not intuitive. He will require someone experienced, structured, and committed to ongoing training. This is not a “figure it out as you go” dog. Ideal home (non-negotiable): Experienced, active, consistent human(s) who will not give up when he inevitably tests every boundary you set. Doberman or working-breed experience strongly preferred. If you want a chill, easy dog; keep scrolling. If you want a high-drive, chaotic, hilarious, frustrating, incredibly rewarding project… Yeager is your guy. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
