MEET DARLA! Darla is a sweet and gentle 6-year-old purebred Doberman Pinscher. (Purebred verified by DNA testing). She is elegant, pretty and very affectionate -- and she gets along great with other dogs. Darla was rescued from a crowded California shelter, and now is a big favorite with volunteers, who call her a "real sweetheart". She is a well-behaved girl, but is quite strong, and will pull when she sees squirrels on a walk! Darla is in good health. She dos have a small lump on her underside, but this has been vet-checked and determined to be a benign fatty tumor, not a source of potential trouble. Darla will be totally devoted to her person. MEET CARTER! Carter is a 3- to 4-year-old male Doberman-German Shepherd mix (50/50 per DNA testing) who needs a foster or forever home! He looks more like a Dobie than a German Shepherd, and is sweet as they come! Carter was rescued from a scary California shelter, where he was kenneled with another dog and did great. He loves other dogs and is a joy with people, always having a smile to go. He still has some puppy energy, but calms down quickly. He's sweet and affectionate, and very intelligent. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM SILVER! Silver is a 10-month-old Doberman Pinscher in need of a foster or forever home! He was rescued from a California shelter, and is just a puppy. Like most puppies he is bouncy and full of life and fun - and he will need some just basic training for his puppy traits. He would do best with an active person or people or a family with older kids, as he will jump up on you since he's a pup. Right now Silver weighs about 45-50 lbs., but he's a growing boy.
