Story
We’ve had creed since he was puppy and has been a great companion to have but unfortunately due to our circumstances we had to move to a location that doesn’t allow big dogs. Creed is a year old and has his vaccines but Creed needs a home that can train him properly and be able to deal with his high energy. He’s good with kids and other dogs but because he’s so big I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re an experienced adopter.

Story
Bear is a 4 year old Doberman Labrador mix. Up to date on his shots, he’s chipped as well as neutered. No medical issues. He’s a very sweet boy, great with other dogs, kids, and loves all people. He needs a home with a big backyard and a lot of space to run. He has a prey drive so no small animals - he will chase squirrels, skunks, possums etc and bark at deer and livestock. He is good with my cats but I would introduce him to new cats gradually and with caution. He doesn’t do well by himself so ideally he should go to a home with at least one other dog or someone who is home most of the time. He loves love and will cuddle with you all day if you let him. He knows quite a few commands and I’ve been working with him on learning tricks. His favorite game is tug o war but he doesn’t like playing it with other dogs, he loves to wrestle with other dogs though and always has a blast at dog parks. He’s good on a leash and loves going for car rides. He’s good about not running out into the road and has pretty good recall  If you are interested in this hunk of love, please apply for him here: https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159 ##1785505##

MEET DARLA! Darla is a sweet and gentle 6-year-old purebred Doberman Pinscher, currently in a foster home. (Purebred verified by DNA testing). She is elegant, pretty and very affectionate -- and she gets along great with other dogs. Darla was rescued from a crowded California shelter. She is a well-behaved and strong girl, who will pull when she sees squirrels on a walk! Darla is in good health though could gain a bit of weight. Darla is good with most dogs, and will be totally devoted to her person. She is a gem and whomever adopts her will be very lucky. She weighs about 69 lbs. Please email for an application.

HI - I'M LORNA! I'm an approximately 3-year-old Doberman Pinscher mix in need of a forever home! I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter and currently am in a foster home in the Ventura, Calif., area. I am a mellow, easygoing girl, very gentle, and I love being with people. I've also done great with other dogs. I'm just a sweet soul in need of a forever home. I weigh about 70 lbs. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET BLITZ, an 85-lb stunning Doberman male who is waiting for his forever home. Blitz is a large Dobie, almost 2 years old. He is a dark red, almost chocolate color and is magnificent in appearance. Blitz is currently in training in the Los Angeles area to overcome some fears and quirks he has had in the past. He is affectionate with people he knows but in the past was tense and suspicious with strangers, especially if he is in a confined space. He can also be a bit stubborn, though his training is helping tremendously. Blitz gets along great with other dogs-- he has previously lived happily with a female Doberman in his foster home. Because of his size and strength, a home without small children is mandatory. Blitz has high energy and would benefit from having a yard, where he can run and play. Blitz is also hypo-thyroid so is on inexpensive thyroid medication, which will likely be forever. We believe Blitz is of European ancestry and like all Euro-Dobies, he has heavier bones and a larger head than the more petite American Dobies. Blitz is without question a lot of dog! But he is a lot of really good dog. Doberman or large-dog experience is a must for his adoption. Please email for an application. He is currently in California but available to Oregonians to meet.

BEST WAY TO INQUIRE, EMAIL CONTACT@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG Chipa would do best with someone experienced in working dogs.  He's high energy  and needs mental & physical stimulation.  Absolutely no cats, kids or small dogs at least at this stage.  He is pretty good with size appropriate female dogs but has a rough play style and does resource guard food and some toys.  He's crate trained, doing better on leash and still learning to pay attention.  He's food motivated, sweet and silly.  Slightly suspicious of strangers and could be destructive left to his own devises.  Seems to like the water so a good candidate for swimming.  I recommend adopters get him into something like scent work, obedience and trick training. or spend time hiking or biking with him ##2574877##
