Look no further than Dutch, a 4-year-old neutered male Doberman with floppy ears, a docked tail, and a heart as big as his paws. Dutch is a sweet, energetic boy who lives for fetch, trail adventures, and playing chase with his besties (currently a Frenchie and a German Shepherd). He’s dog-friendly overall, but has strong opinions about fluffy dogs sometimes and can be reactive on leash, so continued training and management are important. He does not do well with cats or small critters—Dutch has a serious case of “squirrel brain” and a strong prey drive. He’s good with kids, but doesn’t know his size and thinks all stuffed animals/lovies belong to him, so he’s better suited for homes without small children or at least under close supervision around them. That being said, he has never had any aggression issues with children or any people in general. Dutch is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a prong collar, with growing skills on a harness. He’s been through multiple training programs and learns quickly—especially when rotisserie chicken is involved. He needs a fenced yard to zoom around in and would love an active home that can give him plenty of stimulation and structure. This sensitive guy has anxiety, which is well managed on Prozac, and he never goes anywhere without his emotional support rubber chicken, Antonio. He’s a routine lover: breakfast and dinner at 6 sharp. He’ll politely politely—but persistently—remind you if you’re late. He sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom and rises with the sun, ready to start the day. Dutch loves car rides, though he might bark at bikes or loud noises—he’s just passionate about public safety. He’s also got a serious butter addiction (yes, butter), so keep that and other treats on the counter clear unless you want a four-legged kitchen bandit on your hands. At his core, Dutch is a loyal, loving Velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side, whether you’re hiking a trail, binge-watching a show, or just hanging out on the couch. Dutch is looking for his forever home through no fault of his own. He’s a simple boy, just looking for someone to love, follow, and (gently) demand ear scratches from. If you’re ready to open your heart (and your snack drawer) to this big-hearted goofball, Dutch is ready to be your ride-or-die.

Story
*Courtesy Post* Remi is currently with Pinelands Unleashed Rescue in NJ. Remi is a stunning 2 year old Doberman Pinscher with both the brains and the heart to match his good looks. He’s extremely smart, eager to please, and wonderfully affectionate. A “never met a stranger” kind of dog, Remi adores every human he meets and greets the world with a happy, open heart. He truly embodies the phrase “man’s best friend”. Remi’s favorite thing is being a giant cuddle bug. He loves close contact, quality time, and will happily curl up with his foster family on the couch after a day of activity. Remi would do best in an active home with Doberman or similar breed experience—someone who appreciates his intelligence, energy, and need for both mental and physical engagement. He could be perfectly happy as the only pup soaking up all the love, or with one other laid-back dog who matches his calm, easygoing vibe. Remi is dog selective and his adoptive home will be selected based on that. Remi is indifferent to cats, and did great with a young child! If you are interested in being considered for Remi's placement, please reach out to Pinelands Unleashed Rescue at https://www.pinelandsunleashedrescueco.org/adopt DPRPA PA Kennel License # 14649

Story
🐾 Meet Jack — Our Big, Goofy Doberman Pup! 🖤 Jack is a 1-year-old black and tan Doberman with a heart as big as his paws! Curious, active, and eager to learn, this handsome boy loves to stay busy and be part of the action. He’s incredibly smart and enjoys training sessions, especially when there are toys involved. Fetch is his favorite game, and he picks up on shaping exercises very quickly. When it comes to grooming, Jack is a dream. He’s calm for teeth brushing, nail grinding, baths, ear cleaning, and even eye drops. He’s got wonderful crate manners too, happily napping or sleeping through the night with his favorite stuffed toy tucked under his chin. Jack was found as a stray and is still tentative about the big world around him. He’s very reactive to moving vehicles, so peaceful wooded hikes are his happy place while he continues working on desensitization. He also loves car rides, but he’ll need to be securely harnessed since his enthusiasm for watching passing cars can make him a bit too wiggly on the road! Because of his size (and his clumsy puppy energy!), he’ll need a securely fenced yard to safely run and play, and a home without children. Jack has shown some mild guarding behavior over found items like socks or clothing, but he’s learning “drop it” beautifully and has made great progress with his foster parents’ guidance. Potential adopters should simply be aware that he may need continued consistency as he adjusts to a new home. This lovable boy wants to be close to his people at all times and loves cuddles, kisses, and companionship are his love language. Jack will thrive with an experienced adopter who understands Dobermans, can continue his training, and will give him the structure and affection he craves. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, affectionate companion with endless potential, Jack is your guy. Jack is neutered, microchipped, and all up to date on his vaccines. *Courtesy Post* Tryon is an athletic, brave and funny guy, who is affectionate and curious. He's an adult, and is very smart. Tryon is the perfect companion for someone looking for an adventurous buddy. He is very sweet and has a lot of love to give the right owner. He is NOT good with other dogs or cats. He could do well in a family with kids 12 and up. He's a great listener, and a loyal friend. He will stick by your side through thick and thin, and is sure to make a great addition to your family. If you think you can give Tryon a loving home, please come meet him today! Tryon's past is a mystery since he was a stray when he came to us. Story
Courtesy Post – Colby Meet Colby, a young Doberman mix currently waiting in a Vineland, New Jersey shelter. Colby is about one year old, weighs roughly 47 pounds, and has already endured far more than a dog his age should. He was found just before Halloween tied to a pole and alone, and he has now spent months in a kennel environment that is proving overwhelming for him. Like many adolescent, high-energy dogs, Colby is struggling with prolonged confinement. His anxiety shows up as restlessness and barking, and he has even developed happy-tail injuries from wagging against the kennel walls. He is currently receiving Trazodone, which has helped take the edge off, but medication can only do so much in a shelter setting. What Colby truly needs is a calmer environment with space, routine, and consistent human interaction. Outside the kennel, staff describe a very different dog. When his anxiety is managed, Colby is gentle taking treats, responsive to people, and eager to engage. He is young, intelligent, and ready to learn, with no reports of aggression. With regular exercise, mental stimulation, and a stable home environment, he is expected to settle and thrive. Medically, Colby is in good shape. He is heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, on routine parasite prevention, and otherwise stable. He is not a “problem dog.” He is a sensitive, energetic young dog whose needs are simply not being met in a prolonged shelter stay. If you have room in your home and heart for a young dog who needs a fresh start outside the kennel, please consider Colby and help change the course of his life by applying with the shelter directly. Colby is located at South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter in Vineland, NJ. This is a courtesy post only. Our rescue is not handling his placement. Anyone interested in fostering or adopting Colby must apply directly through the shelter here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SJRA/Dog PA Kennel License #14649
