Story
Atlas is a 2 year old, free spirited Terrier Mix dog. He loves to play and explore the outside. He LOVES to play tug and fetch. He is neutered, up to date on shots and in great health. He loves people, but is wary around other dogs and likes to try to chase cats. Atlas needs to be the only big dog in the house (no cats) but could probably be introduced to any small/medium dogs in the corgi size range. He loves to play and is a huge cuddle bug. He would make a perfect companion to anyone! He is very excitable and loves all people, kids and adults. Our reason for rehoming is that we are having a baby and being relocated to Italy all within 3 months and Atlas is not allowed on the military base due to his size and breed mix. We would love to find him a loving home to keep him out of the shelter. He is a very good boy and would love you and your family immediately! Adoption fee is listed at $50 to ensure he goes to a good home. Includes all his belongings as well.

Story
Friend is leaving Oahu and asked us to foster/rehome. Shes such a sweetheart with so much love to give. She loves to play and cuddle and shes great with kids. We were hoping we could keep her but our larger male dog just wont leave her alone. Our home is not a good long term environment for her. She deserves a loving family and shes fairly low maintenance.

Story
Outside of Safeway, a homeless man approached us with the tiniest puppy covered in flees, asking for $20 for her. We couldn’t take care of a second dog but we couldn’t bear to leave her with him in that condition. We bought and took her home and nursed her back to health. Starting as such a quiet and timid puppy, she made a full 180 into a lively and bubbly dog. Loves people, being loved on, adores kids, and loves being around other dogs. Been with us 3 weeks and still weighs no more than 10lbs even though she eats like a bodybuilder.

Story
Ruger is one of two Labrador Retrievers we are looking for a new home. Like his sister he likes to be close to his owners and resting or running around outside with other dogs. He is the best dog to have around children and loves to be pet. Ruger is a good house trained companion and capable in homes without an attached yard to come and go freely. He responds well to certain trigger words, yes “treat” is one of them. Ruger has spent most of his life as an indoor dog but behaves well outdoors in an enclosed yard. He does have exert a lot of energy and would require additional training on a leash. Ruger does have a sensitive stomach to most foods but has an amazing appetite and reacts well to salmon or any fish based foods. Ruger and his sister Remi were both born in December 2019 from the same litter in Greenville North Carolina and have spent their full lives with our family. We would prefer both Ruger and Remi be rehomed together if future owners have the capacity.
