Story
Phoebe is a delight! She's a 3 year-old Redbone Coonhound/Lab mix who loves people & is good with dogs and indoor cats. She loves to play fetch, knows several commands, and will "dance" when you scratch around her tail. Phoebe is potty-trained and will stay in an indoor playpen without trying to jump out. She does well in cars and will wait patiently for her person to come back. She does have very short fur, so can get chilled outdoors if she's not playing fetch or on a walk. Phoebe is currently being fostered with kittens "Niblet" and "Blaze", if you're also looking for a young cat!  Phoebe is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She weighs 49 pounds. She will be available for adoption after Jan 6th. Adoption fee is PAID IN FULL TO QUALIFIED ADOPTER. Call 840-5047 or email jenni.svfa@gmail.com for adoption details. For all animal adoptions, you must complete a Pre-Adoption application. Please email jenni.svfa@gmail.com to receive a copy via email or US Postal Service. Story
Bunny is a young, petite 45-pound girl with a huge heart. She’s loyal, devoted, and absolutely adores her foster mom — but what she wants more than anything is a forever home. Bunny loves attention and simply being near her favorite people. Whether she’s curled up beside you or following you from room to room, she just wants to feel connected and included. She’s active, playful, and always ready for a good run, a long walk, or a fun game in the yard. Because of her high prey drive, Bunny needs to be the **only animal** in her home — no other dogs or cats. But what she lacks in compatibility with other animals, she makes up for with her devotion to her person. She’s smart and eager to please. We are going to get her enrolled in some obedience training to help build her confidence and skills. This sweet girl just needs one person willing to love her, protect her, and give her the second chance she deserves. Bunny is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. DNA test has been sent in....results coming soon! ADOPTION FEE IS SPONSORED – NO FEE TO QUALIFIED APPLICANT. Call 840-5047 or email jenni.svfa@gmail.com for adoption details. For all animal adoptions, you must complete a Pre-Adoption application. Please email jenni.svfa@gmail.com to receive a copy via email or US Postal Service. Story
COURTESY LISTING FOR OWNER – CALL KIM @ 775-777-5720 Sancho is a 2 year old male Golden Doodle. His life got a little crazy for him when he had to move to a new home due to some issues within his family. He’s been at his current home for 1 year. Poor Sancho struggles with anxiety and loses his fur (currently has no fur on his tail) when he is really stressed and will even starve himself. He is on medication. He cannot live in a home that has small children. They cause him an immense about of anxiety. The one thing Sancho does like is other dogs. He is on a grooming schedule with a local groomer. Sancho is neutered, weighs under 30 pounds, current on vaccinations and his tick/flea/heart worm meds. If you can give Sancho a home filled with patience and understanding for his issues with anxiety, please call Kim @ 775-777-5720.
