Story
Hank the Handsome is a shy, emotionally tender soul who spent several weeks on the lam, wandering the community frightened and alone, and while we may never know his full story, we do know he is a dog with a gentle heart fighting to feel safe again. Once brought into care, this delicate boy began to shine in the sweetest ways—tentative tail wags, soft play bows, long naps in cozy corners, and even hiding his favorite bones as if saving treasures for a better tomorrow. Every day he reveals a little more of his goofy, loveable personality, reminding us why watching a scared street dog blossom is one of the greatest joys in rescue. Hank is ready for someone patient, calm, and kind who will give him the room to open up at his own pace and the love he has always deserved.

Story
Phoebe came to me as a puppy and grew up with other dogs in the household. She is now 3 years old. She loves to play with other dogs or hunt squirrels or birds. She doesn’t care to fetch. She went to puppy and advanced training, knows all basic commands but is a bit stubborn. For three years it was just me and the dogs. Now my fiancé and I moved together and for unknown reason she can’t stand him. It started with barking at him whenever he enters the room but twice now she lunged at him. She is very sweet with everyone else but him. We tried training but rather unsuccessfully. At times she goes to him and is sweet and then she barks at him like she doesn’t know him. I don’t know how to correct this behavior and my fiancé reached a point where he can’t tolerate the behavior anymore. I want a good home for her - hopefully a poodle lover.

Story
My little boy Rocky is a beautiful, energetic, stubborn, and smart German Shepherd. He is nervous around new things that being people or animal, and I would love a experienced and patient dog owner to care for him in a way I couldn't. He does need time and discipline due to him being a stay in dog and not properly trained as I wished. I hope someone can give him a chance and discipline he deserves.

Story
Lady Violet, affectionately known as Blueberry, is an estimated two-year-old blue Staffordshire Terrier with a compact build and a heart that is just beginning to bloom. On February 10, 2026, she and her ten tiny babies were moments away from euthanasia at the Oklahoma City shelter due to a heartbreaking miscommunication. Our transporter arrived just as they were being taken back. She was saved in the final seconds, and her story changed forever. Blueberry came into our care with ten-day-old puppies and kennel cough from the shelter environment, yet she never stopped being a devoted, attentive mother. Despite everything she endured, she has shown nothing but grace. She is well-mannered, gentle with her babies, and slowly learning that she is safe. As she decompresses, we are seeing her personality shine through—sweet, silly, and a little goofy in the most endearing way. This brave girl went from the euthanasia table to a soft bed and a second chance. Now she is blossoming into the joyful, trusting companion she was always meant to be. Lady Violet is not just a survivor—she is a wonderful dog who deserves a lifetime of love.
