Story
Oi! I'm Malcolm! Malcolm is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. He is vaccinated and neutered, and he came to us thanks to a kind samaritan. When Malcolm first arrived, the world felt pretty overwhelming to him—and new environments can be scary at times, and when things get too intense, he may "pancake" and freeze. The good news? He's already making great progress and learning that the world isn't all crocs and chaos. The fastest way to win Malcolm's heart? Sit with him and give him a good chest scratch. He loves human companionship so much that he sometimes gets a little too excited and may have a happy pee—but that's just his way of saying how much being close to people means to him. Being an Australian mix, Malcolm will do best with some mental stimulation and routine, but don't expect him to be herding sheep all day—this guy prefers a good lounge and a calm vibe over nonstop play. He's sweet, clever, and eager to learn; he just needs a patient human to help him build confidence and say 'no worries, mate" to life. Malcolm has had experience with other dogs, though we recommend a foster to ensure everyone gets along like good mates. He does not do well with cats—so no feline roommates, please! This sweet boy is ready to find his fur-ever home, his safe place, and his person. If you're patient, kind, and willing to offer a few chest scratches, Malcolm just might be the best mate you've been waiting for!

Story
Meet Vega! Vega is a 1-year-old Rottweiler mix. Though she has big dog roots, she's much smaller than expected for her breed; she currently weighs 42 lbs, and we don't anticipate she will get much bigger. Vega is also fully vaccinated and spayed—ready to start her next chapter! This sweet girl came to us thanks to a Good Samaritan after already experiencing more than most dogs her age. Despite having a litter of puppies so young, Vega is a total spark plug with so much life and joy to give. Her past hasn't dimmed her spirit one bit. Vega can be a little shy at first, but her desire to love and trust overpowers her fears! She's got an excellent temperament—so playful, affectionate, and eager to connect. We believe she would do wonderfully with children thanks to her fun-loving nature. Vega has prior experience being with dogs and cats and has shown herself to be adaptable with everyone she meets. Truly, Vega is a girl for everyone—sweet, social, and ready to be someone's forever best friend.

Meet Ringo, a sweet and goofy companion with a dash of regal charm! Ringo is a 1-year-old terrier mix; he is vaccinated and neutered. Ringo's got a regal personality but remains a humble boy full of loyalty! He's a sensible canine who is sweet, friendly, and has a keen eye for fetch! For an able body like Ringo, he will need plenty of exercise and adventurous outings! Despite lacking musical talent, Ringo excels in offering unconditional love and joy! Smart, eager to please, and friendly, he would be a delightful addition to any family. Grooming-wise, Ringo is a pretty shaggy boy; his coat and infamous peek-a-boo hairdo are what attract most people to him. He will require a thorough brushing at least weekly to prevent mats and keep him in tip-top shape for his adoring fans. Ringo can be selective with other dogs, fostering would be necessary! Ringo is ready to drum up some love and fun and find his fur-ever home! If you're looking for a loyal friend who will keep your life upbeat and full of smiles, Ringo is your star!
