Story
Oi! I'm Malcolm! Malcolm is a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix. He is vaccinated and neutered, and he came to us thanks to a kind Samaritan. When Malcolm first arrived, the world felt pretty overwhelming to him—and new environments can be scary at times, and when things get too intense, he may "pancake" and freeze. The good news? He's already making great progress and learning that the world isn't all crocs and chaos. The fastest way to win Malcolm's heart? Sit with him and give him a good chest scratch. He loves human companionship so much that he sometimes gets a little too excited and may have a happy pee—but that's just his way of saying how much being close to people means to him. Being an Australian mix, Malcolm will do best with some mental stimulation and routine, but don't expect him to be herding sheep all day—this guy prefers a good lounge and a calm vibe over nonstop play. He's sweet, clever, and eager to learn; he just needs a patient human to help him build confidence and say 'no worries, mate" to life. Malcolm has had experience with cats and other dogs, though we recommend a foster to ensure everyone gets along like good mates. This sweet boy is ready to find his fur-ever home, his safe place, and his person. If you're patient, kind, and willing to offer a few chest scratches, Malcolm just might be the best mate you've been waiting for!

Story
Meet Ruby! Ruby is a 4-year-old Pit mix who is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find the loving home she truly deserves! When Ruby first arrived, we already knew a little bit about her past—she had experienced neglect. She was anxious and reactive, which is completely understandable. It's hard to leave a home where you never felt safe and suddenly be somewhere new, unsure if things will be better or worse. We also noticed she tends to be tense and shy around men. But once Ruby started to trust us (with treats, patience, and attention!), we noticed a significant difference. Today Ruby is an incredibly loving and loyal girl who is eager to bond with people. She's also VERY smart! Ruby knows how to sit, give paw, and lie down. She even knows how to bring toys back to you when playing fetch! Any puzzle toy, scavenger game, and interactive play would be perfect for her. With her intelligence and drive, the opportunities are endless! Ruby has had some experience with dogs. We recommend a foster-to-adopt or a home where she can be the only dog. Ruby is truly one of a kind—resilient, intelligent, and full of love once you earn her trust. All she needs now is someone willing to give her the safe, fur-ever home she's been waiting for!

Story
Meet Thor! Thor is a nearly 3-year-old Husky mix. He is vaccinated and neutered; this handsome boy came to us due to his previous family not having enough time to meet his needs. If we had to sum him up in one word, it would be "exuberant"—Thor is full of life, spirit, and enthusiasm! This guy thrives in the great outdoors. Whether he's romping through open spaces, exploring, or soaking up the fresh air, Thor is happiest when he can stretch his legs and burn off energy. Because of his high-energy nature, shelter life isn't the ideal environment for him—he's ready to get out and experience the world with a family who can keep up and give him the extra training he needs to be at his full potential! Thor is also incredibly sweet and eager to please. He loves being around people and has a big heart to match his big personality! He also LOVES treats! Thor does have some prior experience with other dogs, but slow introductions (or foster-to-adopt) will help set him up for success. Thor is a big lovable boy just waiting for someone who matches his adventurous spirit and loving nature. With the right companion by his side, this could truly be a match made in heaven!

Story
Meet Tito! (pronounced Tea-Toe) Tito is a 3-year-old pit bull mix. He's neutered and vaccinated. Tito's journey hasn't been easy, but you'd never guess it from his joyful spirit. This sweet boy was brought in by a Good Samaritan after experiencing neglect and surviving multiple dog fights, leaving him with a few scars. Despite his past, Tito is full of life, love, and endless pep. He greets everyone who walks by his kennel by sitting politely, his tail wagging and his big grin stretching from ear to ear, hoping to get noticed by you. While Tito may look tough at first glance, he's truly just a big softie. He adores being close to people, and he will gladly follow you wherever you go. In fact, Tito doesn't enjoy being alone long and would do best in a home where he can spend plenty of time with his humans—kennel life just isn't his style. Tito hasn't been fully tested with other dogs yet,we would highly recommend a slow and proper introduction. Our lovable Tito is searching for a fur-ever home that will give him the support, patience, and confidence he needs to thrive. In return, you'll get a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your life with love and happiness.

Story
Meet Blue! Hey there—my name's Blue. I'm a 5-month-old Blue Heeler mix. I'm still receiving vaccines and am not old enough to be neutered yet. Because I'm a young pup, I need lots of attention and patience! I'm too young to be on my own in the shelter for long—I thrive when I have people around to make me feel safe and loved. I might be a bit shy when meeting new people at first, but deep down I really want everyone to love me. When it comes to treats… I'm a bit silly. I'd much rather chase my treats and play with them than eat them right away. What I do absolutely love, though, is FETCH! I could play fetch all day if you let me! Because of my working dog roots, I would thrive in an acreage or farm setting where I have a place to explore, run, and use my energy. I'm also already potty trained! Just make sure I get regular outdoor breaks; if I have to wait too long, accidents can happen. More than anything, I'm just looking for someone who will love me and help me feel safe and build confidence as I grow. I promise I'll give you loyalty, fun, and plenty of fetch games in return.
