Story
Lola is 11 going 12 years old. This sweet girl has had a long, hard journey and deserves a peaceful, loving home to spend her golden years. We’re heartbroken to rehome her due to our baby’s allergies, but our greatest hope is finding someone who will cherish her the way she deserves. She’s very reserved and gentle, but when she chooses you, she’s wonderfully cuddly and full of quiet affection. She was found trapped in a car engine, and after surgery she lost part of her tail, leaving her with the cutest little nub. She is incredibly sweet, patient, and has never bitten. All she wants now is a calm home, a soft place to rest, and someone who will love her as she lives out the rest of her days.

Story
Meet Butters 🧈 Butters is a total heart-melter with the softest puppy-dog eyes you’ve ever seen. He was found wandering a neighborhood for weeks, limping, dirty, and clearly without an owner. Once we took him in, he wasted no time showing us just how loving he is. After a few weeks in foster care, his injured arm is healing beautifully and he’s feeling so much better. Now that he’s comfortable and safe, his true personality has come out. Butters is incredibly sweet, people-oriented, and loves to follow his person from room to room like a little shadow. He soaks up attention and just wants to be near you. His foster believes Butters would thrive best as an only cat, where he can soak up all the love and be someone’s special companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate buddy with soulful eyes and a gentle heart, Butters might be your perfect match. Apply to adopt: https://tr.ee/F1ushJ9qj2

Story
How this pet arrived:This pet was brought in by their previous owner on October 24, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Jacko! This sweet, food-loving boy is ready to find a loving new home where he can share his affectionate personality. While he loves to receive pets and attention, he can become a bit overstimulated with too much handling, so a home that respects his cues will help him feel secure. Jacko does have diabetes, and will need ongoing monitoring and management with insulin and diet. He handles his medical care with patience and trust, calmly accepting his medication and exams while enjoying chin scratches and back rubs. With a steady routine and a caring, attentive adopter, he'll be a loyal and affectionate companion who adds joy to your home. Come meet him today! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 14.8 Age: 8yrs 7mths 1wks

Story
*** Franklin is in a foster home. ***Gray/white bicolor, long-medium hair, neutered male, born approx. 6/1/18, #19334Cats: likely fineDogs: likely notChildren: quiet older kids BACKGROUND: Franklin was found in sorry shape, thin and malnourished, struggling to find food in trash bins and just trying to survive. His skin was a mess and his eyes were so sad. He needed time and TLC in foster care to both physically and mentally recover and regroup. Now Franklin enjoys warm places and good company, never skips a meal, and is ready to find a warm loving home!PERSONALITY: Franklin is such a lovely boy, and as his skin improved so did his fluffy fur! He enjoys being gently groomed with a brush and keeping his fur in tip-top shape can be a happy experience for both him and you. Pets around his head and neck area are Franklin’s favorite thing: give him a few scratches under his chin and he’ll melt like butter. He’d prefer if you don’t pick him up much, as he feels uncertain about things when his paws aren’t under his control, but once Franklin gets to know you he is very willing to come to you for attention and bonding time… he cherishes the connection you share and it will become an essential part of his daily life. He is good with new people if they’re not too loud or abrasive; he wants a slow and gentle introduction and an overall quiet home. Given that, this handsome boy shines!COMPATIBILITY: Franklin has largely been in his own space in foster care, but he has shown interest in the other cats he’s seen and seems open to interaction, so we think he could do well living with another mellow cat if given a proper intro. He is not comfortable around dogs, at least large ones. Calm and respectful older children who aren’t too loud or boisterous would be best.Franklin is such a good boy, and he is looking for a quiet and loving home where he can live his days in peace and comfort. Will you make this wonderful kitty’s dream come true? While healthy, Franklin tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This is a type of virus that typically causes some weakening of a cat’s immune system. It is a cat-only virus and cannot be spread through casual friendly contact between cats. FIV+ cats can and do live quite normal lives in quality, duration, and happiness. A good informative website is FIVCats.com.

Story
Dobby is an adorable Maine coon mix. He is 8 yrs old (6/5/18) but still acts like a kitten. Is very social with people and likes to be part of the party. He also loves to play, watch Tv and snuggle with you. He does require some special love because he suffer from some anxiety and sensitive stomach which have been addressed with special diet and cuddles. Dobby does NOT do well with other pets and would do best in a single pet home. Looking to rehome to someone with pet/cat experience and that will only have him as a single pet in the house. Also, Is able to give him the attention he needs and wants to be his best friend. Preferably a female as he is a bit shy around males but is a teddy bear at heart so all are welcome to meet him. Currently updating his vaccines and vet appointments before adoption. We are open to foster to adopt as we want dobby to find the right human he will be happy with. Feel free to message me with any questions regarding dobby and potential adoption.

Story
Hi, I’m Finn! 💙 I’m a handsome Maine Coon, Russian Blue/Nebelung mix with soft, silky fur that everyone says feels like a cloud. I once had a family, but they moved away and left me behind. Even though that was hard, my heart is still full of love and I’m ready to find my forever home. I absolutely love being held and getting attention — I’m a total love bug! I enjoy head scratches, brushing, and following you around just to be near you. Whether I’m playing with my catnip toys, lounging in the sun, or curling up next to you, I’ll always make life a little brighter. I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV & FELV. I’m healthy, affectionate, and ready to give my whole heart to my new family. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion with lots of love to share, I might just be your purr-fect match! 🐾
