Story
Jack is a very sweet and beautiful cat. He likes to lean against your leg or on your lap when he sleeps. He is affectionate with adults, kids, and dogs! He warms up quickly to dogs and doesn’t exhibit a natural fear of them. He tends to get beat up by the neighborhood cats and then is scared to go outside for the bathroom. He prefers kids toy bins to litter boxes when under stress.

Story
Kiriko is the sweetest mama! She was found as a stray pregnant and gave birth to five beautiful babies. She loves to cuddle and be next to her foster getting some good cuddles and lots of love. She would really enjoy a family with someone who can be home with her hanging out most of the time. She has a very mild temperament and is super sweet, she does need slow introduction with other animals. She loves children and is ready to find her furever home as soon as she is done raising her babies. You can get pre-approved for Kiriko now and see if you are her purfect furever home :)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Black P was found under a patio outside as a young kitten, with no other siblings or mother to be found. He was brought in to my work by a coworker and we took him home to be fostered until he quickly he became a fiesty, but loving kitten. Once he hit 1 yr old, he became uninterested in playing with toys and longed to go outside. He started getting anxious, so we let him be an outdoor/indoor cat. He then became very calm after being let out, and now he lovesd lounging around the house in or out. These days he doesn't care to run this streets anymore, he just lays around on the patio or on the couch. Black P loves to be pet (not on the belly) and fed, and will hang out on your lap once he's comfortable with you. He is fearful of dogs at first, but will get used to them over time if they don't bother him. He has been raised with a few dogs over the years. We are looking for a non-chaotic home where he can relax (inside or outside) and where he will be loved and fed.

Needs special attention,
Story
Berry was rescued by the Humane Society of Imperial County after giving birth to four kittens in the back of a utility truck, and she was quickly placed into a foster home. Mama Berry was very much used to living on the street and fending for herself, so she is naturally weary of humans. In her foster home, she really came around and showed herself to be incredibly sweet. She absolutely loves to be brushed and have her chin scratched, and willingly accepts pets from her foster mom. She approaches foster mom for pets, even head-butting for attention every once in a while. She's one of those cats where it may take weeks or months to warm up 100% so patience is key! She has slowly learned to play with toys, and watching her become a "house cat" is so heartwarming! She can often be found perched on the cat tree or cuddling with her daughter, Sandy. She is nearly silent and very unassuming, weighing all of 6.5 lbs (she is mostly fluff!). Berry was adopted into a home with Sandy for 15 months but was sadly returned after veterinary issues developed. It is suspected that Berry has Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease, as she had blood in her urine and the pain caused her to urinate outside the litter box. The good news is that FLUTD flare ups are rare and can be mitigated with the use of a prescription diet, low stress environment, use of stress relievers like Feliway, and having multiple litter box options. We don't know for certain if this was a one-time issue that is fully resolved or if this will happen again in the future, so her adopter will have to have a keen eye to keep her healthy and happy. Berry quickly adapted to her foster home and has been using the litter box perfectly in foster. She also was given a full exam by the vet and was deemed perfectly healthy, although the prescription food is highly recommended to be continued. Once back in her foster home, she immediately settled in and began accepting pets right away. Even though she is happy and comfortable in her foster home, she would love nothing more than a permanent calm and stable home where she can relax!
