Story
Meet Alice! This sweet girl will snuggle right up with you once you bring her home. Alice started an impressive weight loss journey earlier this year. When she first came to Furballs, she weighed a whopping 25lbs! Her fosters helped her exercise and eat right to get her to her healthy weight now. Alice would do best in a home as the only cat; however, she has gotten along fine with big and small dogs, as well as small children. She is also a huge snuggle bug with her humans!

Story
How this pet arrived:Sunshine was brought in by his previous owner on October 8, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Sunshine, a gentle and independent cat in search of a loving new home! Sunshine can be a bit shy initially, and will need some time and patience to open up at his pace. Once he gets to know you and feels comfortable, he shares his curious personality. He is currently enjoying some time in a foster home, where he enjoys receiving gentle pets and roaming around the house with small dogs and other cats (some he likes, some he doesn't). If you're looking for a quiet, laidback companion to brighten your days, Sunshine could be the one for you! At SDHS:Sunshine has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Sunshine is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 14.7 Age: 7yrs 2mths 4wks

White Paw is a super sweet Frosted Feline that came to us from the San Diego Humane Society. Estimated to be 17 years old, she is very thin and has been diagnosed with kidney disease. White Paw is under the care of our wonderful veterinary team, and they are doing everything possible to help her thrive. When her condition stabilizes, we would love to place her in a loving home, so she can spend the rest of her days with a family. Story
Domestic Short Hair & Domestic Long Hair- Black Females 4 months 5 pounds We are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Rancho Coastal adopts out kittens starting at 8 weeks of age. Many of them have been in foster homes for weeks and were even bottle-fed. If you are thinking about bringing home kittens, be sure to consider your time away from home and the ages of your family members. Kittens between the ages of 8-11 weeks old need more attention and care than older kittens. They need continued training and play time, and are generally better with older children. Kittens that are 4 months and older make better companions for young children and are generally more gentle during play. Rancho Coastal encourages adopting kittens in pairs, which is why we have created our “Two Purr One” Program: if you choose to adopt a pair of kittens, the second kitten has a waived adoption fee. Behaviorists recommend pairs because kittens benefit from the companionship and because they are more entertained, they do less damage around your home.

Story
How this pet arrived: KC was brought in by her previous owner on November 4, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet KC - a lovely little enigma wrapped in fur. She's beautiful, independent, and has opinions about... bathroom real estate. KC has a bit of a history with skipping the litterbox, and while the exact "why" remains one of life's great mysteries, we suspect she wasn't thrilled about sharing her space with another cat and may also have some early kidney changes. KC is looking for a drama-free home - no dogs, no other cats, and definitely no chaos. Older kids who understand the concept of "personal space" or an adult only home would be perfect. A calm environment and a dedicated "KC Room" to help her reset her litterbox habits will set her up for success. She may take her time to settle in, but once KC feels comfortable, she'll reward your patience with quiet companionship and her own brand of quirky charm. Although she has an independent streak, she may snuggle with you at night, once you bond! Think of her as a cat with main character energy - she just needs the right stage to shine! Don't forget to bring a cat carrier for a safe ride home! Shy/Fearful Cat:KC requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 10.1 Age: 10yrs 2mths 0wks
