Story
April is a beautiful, sweet, talkative girl looking for her forever home. She was found lying by the side of the road and never reclaimed. She is very laid back and affectionate and would make a great companion. She is estimated to be about 7 and needs to be on a prescriptionl diet as she was found to have some kidney stones. They are not currently bothering her and she uses her litter box faithfully. Her foster mom says she loves to be brushed and purrs when being held. She really, really does not like other cats. Her adoption fee is WAIVED to an approved adopter. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and has received routine labwork. Please contact us via email to get an application emailed to you. Meetings are scheduled after the application is approved. Please email us to start the process.

Story
Meet Chaos! Chaos has been through a bit of a rough patch. He was hit by a car (twice in a row!), and somehow lived to tell the tale. Then, he was surrendered by his owners to a local shelter for treatment. He was then transferred to us for care and adoption. He sustained pretty minor injuries, all things considered, and is now looking for his forever home. He is two years old, very affectionate orange fluffy boy. He uses the litterbox here at the clinic. So far he doesn't seem bothered by dogs and loves people. So far it seems he would prefer a home without cats. His adoption fee is $159 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations and felv/fiv/fecal testing. Please email helpsavepetsapps@gmail.com if interested in starting the adoption process.

Story
Hello! They call me Thumper. I am a medium hair grey kitten who is quite bashful. I will come by you at night and will accept petting but Im still working on trusting people. I am 8 months old.I've learned while being in my foster home that the other kitties come to my foster family for affection. I say to myself Oh, I wish I could do that too. I watch and watch and guess what? I have started to come around and be closer to people in the past week. One day I got so brave I hopped on my foster Moms lap when she was watching TV. They call that baby steps but for a shy girl like me it's like one giant step.Maybe my new family will be understanding on my shyness and can understand that time & patience for me to come to you. I know you'll have a lap waiting for me.I started my life living in the backyard of a wonderful Chicago family. They took great care of our mom when they realized she was going to have babies. They brought us inside to be born. Thankfully, we were born there not outside where we had no way of staying warm or finding food. They then called my foster family who sees this quite often; so many homeless kitties and they continued to take care of us in a safe, indoor environment. I love to play with my siblings and the other foster family cats. In the beginning I was not quite a lap kitty and Im a bit scared of people but if you are willing to work with me, Im sure I will build a trust with you.Ill tell some secrets my foster Mom learned about me to build my trust. Classical music calms down and I LOVE Made by Nacho treats, well really any treats get this girl motivated!Know what I also love? My sister Po. You might have seen the pictures of me cuddling with a white kitty. That's Po. She's braver than me and I hope when a family comes to meet me, they can also meet Po and we go to our forever home together. My foster family has been so wonderful in taking care of me and my siblings. My other siblings have all found homes and now it's my turn. I haven't been around young kids or dogs. I might do ok if they don't scare me. If I get scared I might hide and run.I will get close to you during day if you have those treats nearby. Please consider adopting me with Po. That would be so nice if I could go with to my new home with one of my her as it will make the transition easier. You will fall in love with them instantly and we can be one big family! Thanks,ThumperThumper and Po are located in our foster home in Hanover Park. To meet Thumper and/or her siblings please complete an adoption application.https://treasuredanimalrescueinc.org/application-cat-adoption/Thank you for choosing to adopt! Story
Sweet Home Alabama!!! Can you say GORGEOUS??? Let us introduce you to the stunning Miss Alabama. This long haired beauty came to SAYv after delivering her litter of kittens in someone's garage. A friendly neighbor reached out looking for foster once she realized that this stray mama was friendly, and that's when SAYv stepped in. Alabama's kittens are ready to leave the nest, which means it's time for Alabama to find her forever home too! Alabama is a rambunctious girl! She goes nuts for catnip and thoroughly enjoys small toys that she can bat around the room. Her energy level is not surprising as we are guessing that Alabama is a pretty young mom- all the more reason that we are so happy someone helped this mama out. We're pretty sure that Alabama has lived on the streets for most if not all of her life, which makes it pretty awesome that she's so trusting of people already. She likes scratches behind her ears, and long pets down her back - but will let you know once she's had enough. She's a curious girl, and enjoys hanging out with you while you work or taking a nap in the cat bed next to you. Are you ready to make Alabama a part of your family? Story
Meet Bell, a stunning 2.5-year-old long-haired tabico kitty with a heart full of love to share. This beautiful girl arrived in our care after being surrendered by her owner to animal control, and now she's ready to find her forever home. Bell may be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience, she blossoms into the most loving and affectionate companion. She adores rubbing against legs for attention and will nudge her way into your hand for gentle pets. Bell's gentle nature makes her an ideal match for a quiet and relaxed home where she can feel safe and cherished. While Bell would be perfectly content as the only cat in the household, she is also cat-friendly and can easily get along with other feline friends. We're not sure how she feels about dogs, so a dog-free home might be best until her true preferences are known. If you're looking for a sweet and gentle kitty to fill your home with love, Bell is the one for you. Come meet her and let her charm you with her affectionate ways! Are you ready to make Bell a part of your family? Story
Meet Shelby! Shelby is a sweet and social senior kitty, estimated to be 13 years old, who is ready to find her forever home. Recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, Shelby needs medication twice a day to keep her healthy. Hyperthyroidism in cats is a common condition where the thyroid gland produces too much thyroid hormone, which can be easily managed with regular medication. Shelby loves pets and is incredibly affectionate. She enjoys spending her days next to windows, soaking up the sunshine, and watching the world go by. Shelby is also a big fan of mealtime and will happily let you know when it's time to eat. With her friendly and loving personality, Shelby will make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a devoted feline friend. Come meet Shelby and let her brighten your days with her sweet presence! Has Shelby won you over?
