Story
Buttercup is a large, neutered male with fawn/orange long hair. He’s a more reserved cat, not very vocal (but you may hear a very quiet chirrup or meow if you’re lucky). He is bonded with our cat, Biscuits, who will need to adopted as well if possible. He does love to sit near or on your lap, and is tolerant of most affection. We adopted Buttercup from a small, local rescue group when he was approximately 7 months old, and he will be turning 3 years old come spring 2026. We are rehoming our cats due to severe allergies I have developed and our busy, loud home life which is what I think the cats could do without. Our home includes three, small children and a dog. While the cats don’t love the dog, they do respect her space and will simply leave the area when she gets too close. She is not aggressive towards the cats in anyway, and they coexist very well.

Story
Goose is a 3 year old domestic longhair originally from Topeka Kansas. He is up to date on his rabies and his FVRCP vaccine. He is also neutered and microchipped. He grew up as a street cat but was rescued approximately a year ago. He was previously fostered in a home with dogs and other cats but I don’t believe he would do well in a home with young children. I am a college student living in a tiny apartment and the situation just doesn’t work for him. Goose would do best in a home where he has room to explore or where he can once again be an outdoor cat. He is very active, and loves to play. He can be standoffish at first but approach him with love and his fear will subside and he will love you right back. He loves chin pets and cuddles. He is truly a super sweet cat deserving of the best home.

My cat is 18 years old, mostly sleeps and gets zoomies occasionally, likes to be close at night. My dog that's 7 has increased in aggression to other animals the last few years and I fear for River's safety. To me it feels easier to rehome a cranky skinny cat than a large dog with behavioral issues. I would just like somewhere for her to live out her last years being safe. She's very healthy and in good shape for her age. Still uses litter box, still eats and drinks well, last check with the vet this year showed no health issues. Doesn't need or take any medication or supplements. At most she gets occasional mats that need to be cut out because of her long hair. She's also started to yowl at night, no health reason behind it, just like a cat that forgets where she is sometimes and will stop once she sees you.
