Story
Meet Smokey! Smokey is a 10-year-old senior lady who came to us after the loss of her owner. Given that she is grieving her past life, this has been a big transition for her. Smokey has an independent personality and prefers affection on her own terms. She's not one to demand constant attention, but when she's in the mood, she'll come to you for gentle pets and quiet companionship. She would do best in a calm, low-traffic home where her independence is respected and she can settle in at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, Smokey offers a steady, peaceful presence that only a senior cat can bring. If you're looking for a self-sufficient companion and want to give a deserving senior a second chance, Smokey may be the perfect match. Stop by the Adoption Center during open hours 11am-4pm Thursday-Tuesday (closed Wednesdays). Primary Color: Grey Weight: 6.28 Age: 10yrs 0mths 4wks

Story
Sahara - Female DOB 4/18/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Brown and White Tabby Sahara is a gorgeous long-haired brown and white tabby who will make it very clear, very quickly, that she is your girl — and she expects you to be her person right back. She is playful and loves a good wand toy session, but she is equally happy to switch gears and curl up with you for a cuddle. In her foster home, she had a habit of following her foster mom from room to room, just waiting for the moment she would bend down to give her some attention — and making absolutely sure she was always in the loop on whatever was happening. Once she has had time to settle in, she will find her way onto your bed, and at that point you may just have to accept that sleeping arrangements have officially changed. Sahara was in foster with another cat, but she wasn't fond of being around other cats. Currently at the rescue she has a tendency to hiss and cuff at other cats, so she would likely be happiest as your one and only kitty — as long as you are someone who is home more often than not and has plenty of attention to give. She has not been around dogs, so that would be an unknown worth approaching slowly. Older children who know how to respect a cat's space would be the right fit for her. She just needs the right home to pour all of her love into, and she will make it very much her own. Story
Little Girl - Female DOB 6/23/2025 Domestic Long Hair - Black and White Little Girl and Little Gray are very bonded siblings who will need to be adopted together.  They are often seen cuddled up together when they have their sleep time, but they also will sometimes enjoy their own space when playing or having a quick "cat nap".   Little Girl is a beautiful long-haired girl with a soft coat and an even softer heart. She and her brother were found abandoned together as a tiny kittens and had to be bottle-fed to survive. Thanks to loving care and plenty of attention, they have both grown into healthy, affectionate, and playful kittens ready for their forever home. Little Girl loves to snuggle and will happily curl up in your lap after a good play session. She forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys being close, whether that’s cuddling on the couch or following you around the house.   Don’t let her cuddly nature fool you—she plays hard! She enjoys chasing toys, wrestling, and exploring her surroundings with curiosity and confidence. She would do well in a home that can provide both active playtime and plenty of cozy cuddle moments.  Because of her nature to sometimes reach out and grab ahold of your hand and arm while in her playful mode, she may tend to bite lightly or scratch, therefore, only older kids who are aware on how to play with her would be best so she is not hurting any young kids accidently. Little Grey is an adorable bundle of energy! He loves to play with springs and mice, and enjoys interactive toys, chasing, and engaging playtime.    Enrichment and regular activity will help him continue to grow into a confident and well-adjusted cat.  Full of life and personality, he is curious, adventurous, and always on the move. He would do best in an active home that can keep up with his playful zoomies and daily bursts of energy. He absolutely loves to climb and would thrive with a cat tower or other safe vertical spaces to explore and perch. Watching the world from up high is one of his favorite activities!  An active household ready to provide love, playtime, and structure will help him continue to thrive. If you’re looking for a pair of kittens who offer the perfect balance of affection and fun, these gorgeous siblings are ready to bring love, energy, and companionship into your life.  They have not been around dogs before, but they may do ok with a cat-friendly dog, and respectful children who have been taught how to be around cats may be ok for them. Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Story
This beautiful long-haired black kitty is called Georgia and is estimated to be around 2½ years old as of April 2026.  She was surrendered on April 9, 2026.  Just a few days later, on April 12, she was altered and began her journey toward a new chapter.  This beauty has a spicy personality that makes her all the more memorable.  While she’s still a bit timid and clearly unsure of her surroundings, she’s made impressive progress in just a short amount of time and continues to come out of her shell more each day.  Once Georgia feels comfortable, her confident side shines through—she’s the alpha kitty in her cat room and keeps a watchful eye on everything going on around her.  Playtime brings out her fun and fierce energy, especially when it comes to wand toys—she absolutely loves attacking the fish attachment with enthusiasm.  Although she currently tolerates sharing space with five other cats, she may truly thrive as the only cat in a home where she can fully relax and be the center of attention.  With patience and understanding, this striking girl has the potential to form a strong bond and become a loyal, entertaining companion.   Critter Cavalry would love to send you an application if you are interested....ccrtennessee@gmail.com if our address.  May 14, 2026, 9:49 am
