Story
Margo - Female DOB 3/9/2022 Domestic Long Hair Grey - Meet Margo!  Professional cuddlers, please apply! Two-year-old Margo's journey began under a neighbor's house, where she and her four babies were discovered. Little did anyone know at the time, Margo was carrying another litter. Despite the surprise, Margo proved to be an exceptional mother, ensuring her kittens thrived until they found loving homes of their own.  Now that all her babies have been adopted, it's Margo's turn to find her forever family. In a quiet home, her gentle spirit will blossom. She thrives on human companionship and craves "together time" filled with cuddles and gentle strokes. Margo's affectionate nature shines brightest when she's by your side. Margo's ideal home would be one without dogs or small children, as she prefers a serene environment where she can relax and be herself. It may take her a few days in a new home for her affectionate side to show, but if you're searching for a sweet and gentle companion to share your days with, look no further than Margo. It's this beautiful momma's turn to become someone's baby!  Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Story
All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. Ringo is a very gentle and sweet.  He has beautiful eyes, elegant, silky fur and a very soft meow.  Ringo is OK with other cats, but not interested in rough play.  Although he is a young cat, he is low energy and undemanding.  He'd much rather hang out on the couch than race around the house or climb your drapes. He would do great in a quiet home or one where he has a quiet retreat when he want to snooze.  All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only. April 24, 2024, 8:41 pm

Story
Mr. Chill is our gorgeous solid grey and white long haired handsome, young boy that is a miracle cat.  A vet that Critter Cavalry Rescue works with, called about Mr. Chill who was brought in to their clinic with a badly broken leg that required surgery and a pin in his leg.  The senior couple could not afford the surgery and they were going to euthanize this handsome boy.  Critter Cavalry Rescue paid the $1,000 bill to fix his leg and save his life.  He was worth it !!!!  His regular name was Cloudy but we nicknamed him Mr. Chill.  He has been healing so nicely and getting friendlier and snuggly the past 3 weeks since we picked him up from the vet’s office after surgery.  He greets his foster mom at the door in the morning, ready for her to pick him up and hold him over her shoulder.  He wants lots of head scratches, please!  He has started walking on all four legs now, but he still travels with a slight limp in his giddy-up.  Thankfully all the nerves in his paw seem to be intact and we marvel at what a trouper he has been!  As you can see from his good looks , he is also a gentleman and has been so tolerant of the other younger and more energetic kitten in the cat room of the house.  He has never hurt her; he hasn’t even growled to ask her to please quiet down and behave.  He just embraces the fun.  Mr. Chill is all that and more….such gentle boy.  He is  destined to become a lap cat, not because he has to, but because he wants to.  Purring is guaranteed with his adoption and at no extra charge!   Please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Welcome Ms Jovi! This absolutely unreal, woolly gal will make your heart sing. Her past is a rather calamitous one of street life and unkind humans, but there are the rare ones around such as the Good Samaritan that took her in. She's been nursed back to a healthy state and her foster mom was able to truly get to know this fighter of a feline. She's said to be a very gentile soul, quite shy to start though. Give her time and love and she will certainly give it back tenfold. Fostered with other cats, we're happy to report she enjoys their company. Given her previous life, we're not too sure if she would want to be around any dogs or young children. We believe a quiet life is the ticket for Jovi! Do you have a patient and kind heart that you're willing to open? Fill out an application and let's get a meeting set up.If you are interested in adopting/fostering to adopt, submit an application online at CapeAnnAnimalAid.org/Adopt
