Story
Our beautiful Aurie was formerly known as Bette and was adopted from our program as a kitten in 2021. She was surrendered back into our program a couple months ago after her adopters accused her of misusing the litter box, which left us highly confused given that Aurie had never had litter box issues at any point while in our program. It was only after she had rejoined our program and hadn't had a single accident in her foster home that we learned that Aurie had been absolutely terrified of the Great Dane in the home and that had likely caused her issues (if they even existed). We're glad Aurie is back with us. We are going to make doubly sure that the family she finds this go around will be truly worthy of her! Aurie is an absolute sweetheart! She is sweet and social. She gets along with other cats, does well with smaller sized dogs, is fantastic with children and loves people in general. She is happy, healthy and up to date on all wellness/vaccines. If you feel you may be Aurie's forever family, complete the Adoption Interest Form! PS. Great Dane owners need not apply. (It's just that WE love GDs but Aurie, well, doesn't!)

Story
MUFFIN  Burlington NC We are courtesy posting and helping screen adopters. Take a look at Muffin! She will take up hardly any room in your home, but a big space in your heart! Want to know more about her? She is petite, approximately five years old, spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and negative for FiV and felv. She is fluffy but does not get mats.  She is litter box trained and kind to other cats.  She needs an exclusively indoor home with gentle people who will give her time to adjust.  Apply to adopt via www.sparklecatrescue.org and if approved you can meet her! ......#adoptacat #adoptdontshop #catlife #catlover #rescuecats #adoptdontshop #browntabby #tabbycat #fluffycat ##1971208##

Story
Kenya was born in March of 2024 so he's still a little guy. He is playful and adventurous but when it is time for rest he is the very BEST lap cat or will cuddle sweetly in your arms. If there isn't a lap available, he is an expert in finding soft, warm spots you never even thought about! Kenya is a purr machine and it doesn't take much to get his motor running especially since he craves pets. As a young kitten, Kenya needs another young cat or kitten friend to play with. His energy will probably be too much for an older cat because this boy loves to PLAY, PLAY, PLAY with the occasional interruption of playtime with a nap. We expect this handsome boy to be a hot commodity as he grows into the magnificent long-haired boy he is destined to become.

Story
I am a formally tough, outside, spicy kitten who has learned through fostering that people are pretty great, and the inside life is for me. I am super attached to my brother, and in a home, am super relaxed, social, and loving. I do not like being picked up, but will crawl into your lap without hesitation. I do get panicked about being handled and held, so I may need medication to help me relax for vet visits, and don`t try pulling me out from any hiding places as is scares me. Our Front Desk Person, Harold, fostered me, so ask him if you have any questions.
